Very exciting news over here.
The girls are back in the US sooner than expected.
They will be performing at The Kravis Center (Palm Beach) on October 19 and 20.
Tickets go on sale on Saturday, September 15 at 9AM.

But we were told that THEY would be back in Sept. And that they are already rehearsing for the 2008 tour.

Does that mean the UK tour is OFF then? 'Cause they were supposedly performing at the RAH (Royal Albert Hall) on the 29th of Sept 2007...

Are they coming back for a mini-tour in the US?  Maybe a Christmas tour?  I'd love that!

They are coming back for a short tour to play many of the places they could not get to. This was mentioned vaguely on the website and I have also got this info. And as you have heard, there will be a 2008 Tour.

founsipoun, you seem to have an inside source regarding tour information.  First you broke the news about the CW Japan tour dates and now this.  How do you get all this good info?  ???

Hopefully they will be back in Baltimore, at the Hippodrome.    Both later this year and again in 2008.    Well I guess it wil coincide with PBS begging week.  Who knows this time I may even be able to get M&G tickets.     ::)

As a former Texan myself I hope you ladies get your concert with a stop in Memphis, TN along the way.

Wherever they go, I hope the folks who missed them the first time around get a chance to see them. NO Forum member should be deprived of that particular blessing. Me, I can survive off the memories for a little longer (but only until 2008  ;D)

Also...not wanting to sound like a wet blanket/party pooperer, but this seems like an awful quick turnaround (didn't the 2007 tour just, presumedly, end?) I hope Our Darlings don't wear down, burn out, what have you. Seems like a major grind.

They love doing the shows, it's the constant traveling that can tire them out, especially the one night after night after night shows. So there will be some changes in 2008...but I can't say. It's up to CW to officially tell us. :)

According to the CW official site, they're in the UK in late Sept and then on to Holland and then Germany in early Oct.

When I checked out the URL given in message 1 to announce their concerts in Florida, I also see it's saying that it's ANJ that is being performed, they mention the songs from that DVD, so it doesn't look like it's part of any Christmas concert tour, at least according to the info they've supplied at the concert venue.

OMG!!  They're coming to Florida again in October!!  I'm so excited!  My husband will be really excited because that is only a week after his birthday.  We saw them in Jacksonville in February and in Orlando in June and thought that would be it for 2007.  I've got to check our schedule (and finances).

I'm glad to hear that there will be changes to the touring in 2008.  The 2007 tour was so grueling!  As much as I want them to make it to every corner, it's most important that they take care of themselves and their health first.  The more they enjoy this, the longer it'll last and I want it to go on foreverrrrrrrrrrr!

Since the Christmas DVD is being released in October I believe that our Girls will be in the United States at some point to promote it's release. I missed Christmas in July but I am really looking forward to Christmas in October. Who said Christmas only comes once a year? July! October! December!

Well, I certainly am all for them spacing their concerts out alot more.....God knows they could use a little more R&R than they've been getting the past few tours! And also, I'm all for spacing the concerts out more if that means they'll stay a little longer in the states on tour :)

Ok, here is a little more about what I heard.

Now this isn't official, just from someone in the cast (not the girls!), but they maybe adding MORE shows..but with less travel.

Something alot of us had discussed previously. About staying longer in some cities, such as Boston, or Chicago, or Columbus  ;D (kidding about Columbus).

For instance, 5 nights in Boston, then possible traveling for a couple weeks, then another city for 5 nights...that kind of thing. So they get more breaks from the bus travel, and yet, we get more shows. I know I am willing to travel to some of these cities to see them, especially if they are on a weekend ;)

Mel, if this is ultimately what they end up doing, I think it's a fabulous idea!  I hope during some of their tour they'll come near me, but if they don't then at least I know when I travel there is a possibility of seeing more than one show if I choose to (and I'll choose to!)

Rich, I'll see your "ditto" and raise you one!!! I think that would be the perfect set-up ( better for the girls travel wise and better for us since we can see them at the same location on successive nights - providing our funds hold out!)

I hope they also will do this for the Canadian fans and add in more shows and more cities.  Only 3 shows for us here, didn't give many Canadians the opportunity to enjoy their performance.  I also hope they'll add in some either signings or meetings, so that we can get to meet them too! *S*

Hey JE,NEVER shut up. A person with your gifts is one we always want to hear.You make very valid points.Word is that the Autumn tour is to cities that have yet to hear our Angels.And the 2008 tour will be better planned for the health of CW,possibly more central locations for 2 or more days;ie.Boston for all New England,New York for NJ,Ct,NY,Pa.etc.,giving the cast a place to perform & rest,without the day in,day out travel,giving all of us the best possible performance without the exhausting schedule.Mc

Well, if the girls show up in Nashville I would like to extend to them an invitation, a complimentary tour of the Ryman Auditorium the "mother church of country music" front of house and backstage. I feel since the girls have the voices of angels it is only appropriate for them to be on the stage where so many other talented people have performed. I have a lot of friends and can make this happen with at least a days notice.

Hi Mona - I visited Nashville back in September of 2006 and absolutely loved it. I really enjoyed the Ryman Auditorium - just to close your eyes and think about the talented performers that stood on that stage!  I would love to see a concert there and I believe,during certain times of the year, it is once again the home of the Grand Ole Opry. The history of that place is inspiring for any performer. Now if Celtic Woman ever did concert there ....WOW!

I lived in nashville for a few years and absolutely loved it.  i would even love to go back if things worked out that way.  the ryman is incredible and i would surely have to make a trip if they were ever to sing there.  wow, that would be so great!

Thanks Susan. I get the honor and pleasure of working shows there and have been ALL over the ryman and forget sometimes about the history. To me sometimes it's just another venue which is sad because it really is NOT just another venue. I was there a few months ago when country performer Josh Turner recorded a live DVD there. The acoustics in that building are amazing, and with the girls voices oh WOW... You have a great weekend also, except I am working a show so it will be a long weekend for me but hey, gotta pay for all the fun things I do. Sincerely, Mona
