Title: Re: What's your favorite Celtic Woman song to sing? Post by: Conchobar on July 26, 2007, 05:54PM Tough call. Especially since I can't carry a tune in a bucket. Though I am often asked to sing tenor. Tenor twelve miles down the road! That being said I am often found in full voice anyway. Choosing a favorite CW song to sing is like being asked which puppy is cutest. I guess my favorites would be The Soft Goodbye, Mo Ghile Mear, Orinoco Flow, and Caledonia. In no particular order.
Title: Re: What's your favorite Celtic Woman song to sing? Post by: Zo on July 26, 2007, 06:27PM I try to sing Dulaman and You Raise Me Up but I can't sing a lick. The girls have nothing to fear with my singing!! ;D
Title: Re: What's your favorite Celtic Woman song to sing? Post by: leighlam on July 26, 2007, 06:31PM I have to agree with Celtic Child on this one, definately ALL OF THEM!
They don't sing a bad song and everything they do they do so well. Title: Re: What's your favorite Celtic Woman song to sing? Post by: Trouble on July 26, 2007, 11:17PM Thank you! I cant just choose one cause each one is special to me.

Title: Re: What's your favorite Celtic Woman song to sing? Post by: Starrgurl on July 27, 2007, 06:04PM I have a number of faves, since they're all fairly easy, and a few of them I have sung in choir or competitions...
Dulaman Danny Boy Scarborough Fair* Lascia Chio Pianga Spanish Lady One World Nella Fantasia Walking In The Air May It Be Siul a Run Carrickfergus Orinoco Flow Over The Rainbow *I don't sing Hayley's version of this song. I prefer the one we sang in choir, which for one is mostly sung in the key of G and switches to D in one verse, and for another uses the pronoun "she". Not to mention it was a cappella and had other lyric variations. Yeah... I think those are my tops to sing. Title: Re: What's your favorite Celtic Woman song to sing? Post by: chickie.monkey on July 27, 2007, 06:10PM betcha cleaned up with them! ;D I wish this stuff had been around back in the ummm "dark ages". i so woulda kicked some all-state butt with any of their songs! I would have loved to have done Nella Fantasia...i could have sung it back then... lol
Title: Re: What's your favorite Celtic Woman song to sing? Post by: Starrgurl on July 27, 2007, 06:36PM Surely you could sing it now... or has your voice changed inconveniently?
Title: Re: What's your favorite Celtic Woman song to sing? Post by: Kelsey on July 27, 2007, 07:36PM Of course, I love to sing all of them, but The Soft Goodbye is one that I sing A LOT.
Usually when I walk in my back door from going somewhere, I think of the song and I break out into singing it. (Not sure why my back door makes me think of The Soft Goodbye, but it does. :)) Title: Re: What's your favorite Celtic Woman song to sing? Post by: chickie.monkey on July 28, 2007, 11:57AM Surely you could sing it now... or has your voice changed inconveniently? years ago i thought it would be a good idea to start smoking. it really affected my voice. i quit a bit ago and am slowly getting my range back, but that G(I think? my ear isn't as good as it used to be either...) is still a bit far for me. I'll get it eventually though. I could do it once, i could do it again darn it! :)Title: Re: What's your favorite Celtic Woman song to sing? Post by: Moscapoet on July 28, 2007, 02:37PM My favorites are mostly ones that Lisa sings and singing along is helping me get my voice back in training. Send me a song, Caledonia, The blessing work for me in range. I like the voice but parts of it are beyond what I can reach. Regardless they're all beautiful and I can hardly wait for the Christmas DVD as I just returned from there and the concert. Breathtaking.
