Mairead how wonderful you are Your fiddling is magical Your dancing superb I just cant understand How you can be so Full of life Full of cheer Day after day You fill us with joy Playing for us every night Never batting an eye We know you got hurt And we wished you the best Please Mairead Know that we love you And your wonderful tunes Lisa You said send me a song So I will send you this poem Your smile lights up the sun It twinkles and it shines Your wonderful voice Is so warm and so pure When we hear it We cannot help but to think We must be in Heaven For surely that is the sound of an angel Heavenly and Serene you sound to me Your fans all adore you As do I too Meav The pipes are surely calling for thee To hear you sing once more Your magical voice is golden Nothing could be sweeter Your wit, your charm Beams through you And touches our hearts Makes us laugh Drying up our tears You are beautiful Thru and Thru I wish I could meet you I would gladly sing with you And live forever more On cloud number nine Title: Re: More Poetry by Yours Truly Post by: Kelli on August 01, 2007, 02:08AM Erin, those are fantastic!!!

I'm going to suggest again that we consider putting together a book of poetry with contributions from forum members. Most poets sre self published from what I understand being new at this. However, wouldn't it be nice to submit all our lovely inspirations to all these ladies that have inspired them? If poetry isn't your cup of tea then look at them as songs. Support each other and read their creations and comment. Chris has a beautiful one in the Mairead section that depicts Mairead as a warrior with a fiddle. I have one in the CW section called clear a path to my heart. Check them out. I will make an effort myself to read any poem submitted as they are all labors of love for each member.
