You can read about it here (http://www.rockportmusic.org/newperformance.html) and make sure that you watch the video. The Shalin Liu Performance Center is a beautiful timber frame building with a huge window behind the low stage that looks out on the waterfront. It's quite small and intimate; second row is only 7 feet from the stage. The acoustics are optimized for chamber music which means Órla, Dan and Mary will sound absolutely amazing. She certainly knows how to pick 'em!

This will be one of the best settings I believe that Orlagh will perform in here in the United States for acoustic quality and intimacy of the theater. Go to the link posted by Mr. Peabody and watch the video. If you can get to this concert I think you will be well rewarded by the setting. With Orlaghs voice and the music that will be provided it will be a night to remember. If you live in that area and cannot get to the concert in NC you have got to see Orlagh in this setting in Rockport Ma. ;D

It's reunion time...Rockport is where we go Ocean fishing from, I know the area very well..and yes Mike you can ride the train in from Beantown. ;) There are a few nice Motels close to town if anyone's wondering. We're going on a Halloween Cruise to the Bahamas with the Irish Club, that just about blows our "fun money" this side of Christmas. :( Anyway...even if I could find a few dollars under the mattress....I think I've left it too late for a ticket.
