Let me explain: I have been a ghost haunting the various incarnations of the Forum since mid-December when the Fair Ladies of Celtic Woman first killed me softly with their songs. Each lady lent a special, delicate hand in my happy demise, but aMeaving Meav dealt the "death blow." Her weapon of choice: the most soul-stirring, heart-bracing, spirit-lifting voice my jaded ears have ever had the pleasure to know. Complementing that: more class, charisma, charm, elegance and grace than one human should reasonably be expected to carry. Add to that a blindingly brilliant smile and magnetism the poles north and south might envy, and yes, I was easy, willing pickings.

The good news: since then she has become like a guardian musical angel, brightening at least some part of each day since. Her songs and her music provide peace, comfort and beauty; they soothe me when I'm troubled; yes, "raise me up" when I'm down, cheer me when I'm blue. Meav to me is a true, one-of-kind gift from God. Not wanting to sound irreverent, but I must applaud our God's generosity. Had I created her, I'd be very tempted to keep her for myself.  ;D

Yeah, I agree! She has such a beautiful and truly amazing voice and range too! She does a great job on all her songs but my faves are:
                .Si do mhaimeo
                .She moved through the fair
                .Danny Boy
                .The last rose of summer
                and Dulaman.
          I really love "Dulaman" and "She moved through the fair"
        She does such a wonderful job on them especially since their irish gaelic songs which is just amazing to hear! She is awesome!

Méav is a breathe of fresh air, with each note she sings it lifts you up to the heavens. I <3 her! <3 Lauren

By the way, I very much enjoyed reading your Meav fan of the month article! It was very well-written!

I've come to the conclusion that to me, Méav is my hero.

     I just got done listening to Méav on a radio interview. Whew. That woman is ameaving. She just opened so many doors to so many new things for me. Music : Nick Drake, Sarah Vaughan, Nina Simone. I was listening the samples of their music, and i Love it! Especially Sarah Vaughan. You should all check her out!

About the music Meav likes....I think it is so great to get to know what music Meav listens to because I respect her so much as a singer that I really enjoy getting to find who she enjoys for music.

 :D  Having met her last week and telling her something similar, I can now see the look that might be on her face if she reads this  LOL She's definitely not yet used to all of the accolades.

I think her potential is unlimited.  She could make people say "Barbra Who?"  Music, movies,
and more.  And, she is obviously smart enough to make good career decisions.  I say "GO
FOR IT!"

hmm...Meav is to me...someone I have come to know a little more about, bwt several meetings, and seeing her at Bridgeport, with me sitting next to Lauren, and just having a blast, or seeing her at RR, and having her singing with me and Kaylie, or just nodding in approval. Seeing the witty side of her in Dulaman, is just a special treat. :)

No doubt about it, she is an ANGEL. Her voice is sweet, perfectly controlled and infintely beautiful.

A combination of class, talent and grace. I love her voice. It's soft without getting boring, and in a subtle way powerfull. And not to forget she is an impressive performer. She just steps out and sing a soft romantic and haunting ballad, with that mysterious happy smile. Or she jams to a cheeky song with those sparkling eyes.

You rock miss Ní Mháolchatha. I hope I'll have the pleasure of seeing you live one day.

Meav is the vocalist that got me absolutely obsessed with CW back in 2005! She is an absoluely incredible singer!

   Simply remarkable.  She is one through whom many lives are blessed. :)

Méav is a complete dream. She is blessed by God. She is everything I love, a beatiful voice, a beautiful personality, very witty and funny and most of all, she is just absolutely BEAUTIFUL.  She is an angel put on this earth. She is full of grace and such softness that everything she does makes my heart melt. Those blue eyes, that I could look into forever. A voice with such calmness and purity, I could listen to her forevermore. I know that with Méav, I will never get bored of listening to her or watching her, she has something to bring in everything that she does...so majestic. I think it's fair to say, I have a little bit of a girl crush on her. I don't know if you can tell ;)

If  you  look  at  some  of  the  older  threads here, you  will  see  that. And  there  is  more  than  one  presently  who feels  the  same  way. I  will let  them  say  who  they  are if  they  want.  Our   BEAUTIFUL  SWEET  LADY  MEAV  is  sooo  easy  to  love ,  it  would  almost  a crime  not  too.     ;)
