Andrea Boccelli, famous Italian singer, and our dear Hayley have done duets together before. And to my understanding from a friend who said she read this from Hayley's site, Hayley and Andrea will be doing a tour together. Could someone please confirm this for me? They make a great duet team. I would love to see them go on a special duet tour. ;D I tried to get on Hayley's site to confirm this myself but my computer doesn't seem to like her site anymore lately. It says the site either doesn't exist or when i DO get it, it chops out half the page. I only see 2 tour dates for him. And does he have a CD out? If not, I don't see why he would do a tour. But she did say on Twitter this week that she'll be doing a lot of travelling this year, which most likely means touring!
That would be really amazing if she did, and that would mean she could come to the U.S.! And maybe perform Vivo Per Lei and Time to Say Goodbye with him! Plus, she's singing songs of Ennio Morricone on her album, and Morricone is Italian. :) Title: Re: Andrea Boccelli and Hayley Post by: Libby on February 06, 2011, 02:18PM I looked at Andrea Bocelli's website, and it does look as though he's going to have an album out soon. But still no mention of a tour, let alone who he's touring with. I did a search, and I found a forum that's mostly in Italian, but there was some discussion of a tour later this year, but the only mention I saw of any opening act possibilities were other people. I think I saw Heather Headley's name. Who, by the way, Hayley duetted with once.
So, [other] Hayley, if you can find out from your friend where on earth she got this information, it would be very much appreciated. It's not good to be spreading false rumors, otherwise some people will end up being disappointed (like for the Macy's parade thing). He is appearing at the Met Opera House in NYC on Feb. 13 and the Bank Atlantic Center in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. on Feb. 14. I would love to see Andrea Bocelli in concert.
