Title: Celtic Woman's first Holiday Tour? Post by: MaryNorth93 on February 17, 2011, 01:03PM I hope I understood this well.. ;D
Scroll a bit down to find it: http://www.prlog.org/11308971-colorado-symphony-announces-201112-season.html Quote CELTIC WOMAN – Dec. 21, 2011 Audiences have fallen in love with Celtic Woman via PBS specials and live arena performances that feature the Irish female vocal ensemble performing a mix of Celtic, New Age and Adult Contemporary music. On their first American symphonic holiday tour, Celtic Woman’s holiday celebration will warm your heart with their distinctive take on classic Christmas songs and carols. Sounds like this year it will be a very good celtic christmas, again ;D [admin edit: I added the question mark to the title of this topic because we simply don't know anything yet about a possible holiday tour. The concert cited in this article could be a one time event. Until we hear something "official" from CW, I don't want anyone to get carried away with anticipation.] Title: Re: Celtic Woman's first Holiday Tour (I think so?) Title: Re: Celtic Woman's first Holiday Tour Post by: SusanZ on February 17, 2011, 02:22PM Guys, I think we need to hear or read an official announcement from CW LTD before we start booking any airfares! LOL
Zee Title: Re: Celtic Woman's first Holiday Tour Post by: lcainsa on February 17, 2011, 02:24PM From his comment, I think Rich appears to know something about this, perhaps. Mary, they'd have to be peeved at the Colorado symphony folks rather than you. ;)

Zee Oh, absolutely they are within their rights, so I'm quite certain that there's no way anyone would get mad at Mary for sharing what she read after it was released. Title: Re: Celtic Woman's first Holiday Tour Post by: MaryNorth93 on February 17, 2011, 03:08PM Well, since the cat is out of the bag (I've learned a new proverb, isn't it awesome?! :P ::) ;D) people can start with wishing for specific songs... :D

My wish is that they would come to Cleveland with this! I mean what can be a better Christmas/ present? Even though I would feel bad for the girls if they come to Cleveland during the winter at playhouse square :-\ I don't know about anyone else but, I can't think of any thing more magical than the Christmas time downtown at a celtic woman concert, minus the weather!! Especially after 8 years in a row working Christmas and Christmas eve I will be taking time off anyways then! December's not the greatest and friendliest of weather months downtown (been their done the theatres downtown in the cold (not fun!)...(Hopefully they come when the weathers nicer!!) Plus what a Christmas present would be than a meet and greet? Hopefully Santa's heres this! ;)

I think this is a great move for CW. Packed venues everywhere, I'm sure. Title: Re: Celtic Woman's first Holiday Tour? Post by: TheWhite~Rose on February 19, 2011, 11:32AM This is very exciting news indeed! I wonder if they'll be taking this to other cities? They probably won't return to University Park though. :( Depending on how close and when they come, I might have to plan a roadtrip. This is going to get interesting. ;) I can't wait for more news!
Title: Re: Celtic Woman's first Holiday Tour? Post by: cool2it on February 19, 2011, 11:44AM As much as I would love to see them tour with a Christmas show I seriously doubt that will happen. They want, and should be able, to be home with family around the Holidays. I would really like to see them come out with a new Christmas DVD for all of us to enjoy. The only thing that would be a tad upsetting would be the fact that Lynn and Alex wouldn't be there to take part. Well, maybe David could invite them back!!!! What a great DVD that would be!!!

I 100% agree w/ you on that! Even though a tour would be nice but, I think not only them but everyone, should be with their friends and family for the holidays! (Even though the girls are close) but, I think they would be happy home in ireland for the holidays!Title: Re: Celtic Woman's first Holiday Tour? Post by: Jennifer on February 20, 2011, 12:03AM Please let this come to MN or anywhere in the Midwest! It'd be the perfect 18th birthday or Christmas present!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D

As much as I'd love a holiday tour (THE perfect xmas gift), I have to agree. I think the girls should ALWAYS have that time to spend with their families. They're away so much! They should be spending time at home. And think about it! Would you want to be away from family on Christmas? Title: Re: Celtic Woman's first Holiday Tour?
