Is anyone updating through Twitter (if that's even allowed!?) I guess it would be, who knows. I'm rambling bc I'm so excited lol.

"Now is the hour, Riders of Rohan. Oath you have taken, now fulfill them all, to Lord and Land!"   ;)

Reviews, huh?  As I posted elsewhere --- AWESOME SHOW!!  And, I don't use that word very often.
Short reviews are posted on the Chloe and Mairead forums.
I predict you will ALL (each and EVERY one of you!) like this show.  The whole thing was great and the ladies and everyone else did a marvelous job.
I will leave a detailed review to others.

For the opening number I just read it was : "Between Heaven and Earth" and the second song is "Follow On" and apparently they did the short "Mo Ghile Mear" as playoff. For the last Mairead's number it's in Gaelic "Mná na hÉireann"

Well, I just check a review in the Chloë's Forum and the end is like the SFTH DVD's end : Mo Ghile Mear and At The Ceili :)

Well, I just check a review in the Chloë's Forum and the end is like the SFTH DVD's end : Mo Ghile Mear and At The Ceili :)

Strange, that's not what they said in the review I read on Mairead's forum ... seems to be some confusion here!
edited to add:  I am not able to find any review on the Chloe forum at all, unless I'm missing something!  I see posts talking about the taping, and warning there will be spoilers included ... talking about the plans for the forum gatherings, but I'm missing any reviews!  Please point me in the right direction ... I don't want to miss anything!

According to that review, the finale is "The Parting Glass."  The writer does comment that they might still include the Mo Ghile Mear reprise during the tour, but it's not mentioned by this reviewer as actually being part of the new show ... and since EVERY report by the members of the group, as well as Scott, have said that this show would not include anything previously recorded ... I'm inclined to think those would not be in this new show.

again, edited to add:   Seeing another post that says Mo Ghile mear was not actually being performed, but might have been used as the "play-off" that could explain some of the confusion.  The final song actually being performed, though, would be "The Parting Glass."

The playoff is ATC Reprise.  MGM is not part of the new show.

The reviews on the Chloë's forum is on "The Members section" , and I read on Mairead's forum this : " After taking their bows they did the short Mo Ghile Mear playoff and it was over. " :-[ So I think the one who wrote it has did a mistake, sorry for the confusion guys :-X
But I think it would have been great if they recorded the Finale from Songs from the Heart Tour with the solo of each instrument. :D

Scott tweets the names of the Aontas Choir for this taping :  Cary Posavitz, Colm Keegan, Dermot Kiernan, Andrew Nangle are the male choir.
Catherine Neylan, Una Pedreschi, Ann Myler, Rosemary Collier, Eimear McCarthy and Mairead MaGuire. Female choir

There is a part in one song where they have "dueling drums".  Tommy gets a few solo moments and is great.  David plays piano, and a pipe, briefly, in one song, and Anthony is prominent in the show.

The segue from one to the other isn't as jarring as you might think.  The differences of each help support the other ... similar to how 'Slumber My Darling' worked with 'Mason's Apron' in SftH.

Lisa K announced it as their tribute to Broadway, so I knew it'd be a medley of songs. That's what made the transition smoother. The dance steps for Circle of Life are cool... sort of a step-n-snap thing.... :D

They sound a WHOLE lot better than Rod Stewart! :D

Glad to hear that.  Just heard Rod's version - I have never heard of that song before, but I didn't care for it.  Ha ha...I will probably love the song once CW sings it!   ;D

According to Roy, this "Sailing" was a Robin Trower song from the late 70s.

But it's the "Sailing" we all know from Rod Stewart?
Hey cool, I can even play that on the pipes as well! :D :D

Yep.... Good ole' Rod Stewart, lol.
Don't quote me on this, but I think they had pipes for this one. The whole show has run together in my head, and I probably have that wrong.

Yeah no problem. I think I read that somewhere too. So I just have to compare how similar their version is to mine. ;) :D

I love the setlist! Many familiar and unfamiliar songs!
I'm so excited for December! There are a few songs on here that I don't think I can wait 3 months to hear. hehe But I'll be patient!

I will keep an eye on Youtube, after the taping of SFTH, EMI gave us the "Songs From The Heart - Trailer" the 18th November 2009. The 26th November 2009, Nil Se'n Là and Non C'è Piu were upload by EMI. The next day and the days following, we had a lot of video from SFTH. I hope they will do the same thing this time :D

Me too!  I'm not expecting CW to return to the Bryce Jordan Center next tour, so WPSU may not even air it at all, but you never know...

Regardless, I'm impatient. :D
