This person had told her to "go back where she came from" and she replied that she had moved here, and was here legally.

As much as I agree with that, she does have the right to express her opinion, whether she's a public figure or not, and as for that guy, he has no life whatsoever. Never said she doesn't have that right; just that if one, especially a public figure, chooses to do so, they will take crud from someone.
