With just some of the items at my company, I could record the entire show in pretty good quality, both audio and video, and likely not get caught.
Given how small stuff is now, it is possible to do it without getting caught unless security just happens to be paying very close attention at the wrong moment. However, I will not risk getting tossed out to even consider it, nor would I ever condone it or even explain in detail how to do it. Just saying it can be done if someone is determined enough and willing to spend the money. As for taking one's camera or cell phone; they'd be opening themselves up to all kinds of trouble. Most likely they'll make you delete everything before escorting you out. Since they're not law enforcement; they do not have any legal authority to confiscate someone's property.
