ARE THERE WORDS TO DESCRIBE THIS ? I'm sure that's the trailer for the new DVD and it is AMAZING. Now I can hardly wait to see the show in October.

It is the DVD. Lisa stealing the baseball cap is something Cash specifically mentioned in his review of south bend. Looks like we might get a fall release after all!!! *watches again and again and again*

OMG! Thankyou times a million! That just was the icing to my day! I just have to find a way to make mself not watch that a millions times!  It looks AWESOME!! I cannot wait  for the release and to see it!  And the dresses are gorgeous! And to think that only 72 hours before that I saw them live and met them twice (In a way I was upset they didn't tape in sold out cle but in a way glad I was not on video as I was in the prime spot  and would have been on a good portion of it! :/ Def. would have been weird to have myself on video for ever and be seen on pbs!) Well, I'll leave that part up to the girls and it looks fantastick! I will def. be one of the first people in line to buy it when it comes out and have iit forever!! lol! No, def will be added to my colletion! I am definately excite to see it!

No orchestra here, either.  I thought it was because the stage at Longview was too small, but now it looks like a feature of the tour.  First they replaced Orla, Haley and Meav with Alex and Lynn, for SFTH, then replaced Alex and Lynn with just Lisa L. at Atlanta, then for the 2013 tour they reduced the choir to just four and eliminated the orchestra. A disturbing trend.  We can hope that the corporation is just socking away capital for a knock-our-socks-off tenth anniversary production, but it doesn't look good.

wow it seems early for a spoiler, only like 6 weeks since the recording. but this is real! I spotted a couple forum members and myself too, though I am partially blocked. my bald forehead is shining in the background though!

But as they sing NIL it sounds to me like I hear Lynn's voice on the high parts. Anyone else think so?

The high part is prob. either lisa or Sarah!  It confused me like crazy when I saw it live! I though it was a recording at first cause all of a sudden(specially in Nil) I literally said the same thing to my self but I also heard it again in Ave maria! so it prob is Sarah and her and lynn prob have similar voices!  But, I noticed one thing on the description that took a few double takes!  It is a advertisement for AUSTRALIA!! It took me a while to figure it out! I don't know if anyone noticed it either!? I know it was the indiana taping but, it said wollongong (say that 10 times fast!!) and I researched it and it kept coming up a sports arena in wales (which I know they are not going to!) and ten it said something about facing the pacific ocean? Which I know they haven't been on the west coast yet!  Then it kept coming up Australia! Which makes sense! They ave a lot of time off and the date matches up and they were talking last year about goin to australia around august / septemberish! It is for thursday september 19th 2013! How cool! sorry! I randomly noticed that!!

I noticed it! it is DEFINITELY the SFTH 2010 version of NSL with Lynn! There is no question!

Possibly because they used the same musical tracks in the NA tour announcement video on their website. Looks like all they did was swap out the video footage. Still awesome that we get to see it is already in a finished state

I don't see having fewer musicians and choir members as being a "bad sign" per say.  Perhaps it was just too much trouble to coordinate that many people, especially since Scott left when Lisa did.  That might have caused some issues and it was easier to drop some people for this year.

And why does Chloe always have to draw insults on YouTube?  Poor girl can't catch a break.

For every barb from the "A woman can't be too thin!" crowd, Chloe gets defenses, split between "Who cares, she sounds wonderful!" and "Real women have curves!"  I've posted a few of the latter.  But then I married a XXLarge teddy bear.

Yeah, but it's still disgusting to see comments like that.  I guess I just can't stand obnoxious, rude people.  I was always taught to not say anything if I didn't have something worthwhile to say.  Chloe was always pretty, but she was a teenager at the beginning of CW and now she's grown up and looks lovely.

Oh well, can't wait for the DVD.  Will be able to see anything I somehow missed from the show.

This taping is of their "as is" Tour Show.
Anyone who has seen this Show would not call it disturbing.  Most call it AMAZING!

It seems that I'd got a mistaken impression from YouTube.  The only really watchable CW performance video there is either ripped from DVDs, recorded from broadcasts of special events, or the odd trailer.  The only video from tours is -UGH!- cellphone video shot by people who don't realize that being a cameraman and being an enthusiastic fan are mutually exclusive, so on top of the limitations of the phone there is usually a nauseating amount of camera shake.  I gave up before I noticed the lack of an orchestra, assuming that the company hired a local orchestra in each location.

Only for the Symphony Tour (Christmas).

I think the pbs's do there pledge drives in october from what I was told? Which might be for symphony or to sell thedvd and cd for 2014! Which is about the right time frame! So anybody 13 in ny please let me know in advance if they are playing it and selling tix, and what day! I would love that! But, I hope they put more out soon! Since it seems like pbs or what not already have it! Which it might take a little more time, but it seems like soon!!

Yep, if it's PBS then it means we'll see it during the fall pledge drive.

Another thing to do is watch Amazon.  Sometimes DVDs will appear there with a release date before official announcements are made.

Thank you for posting this - it certainly is exciting to see. But it is clear that it's meant as a promotional video for the upcoming Australia tour. The channel it's posted on belongs to an Australian TV network, and it came out two days before CW posted the link to Australian tour dates on its Facebook page. So it all seems like a very coordinated release.

Smart marketing when you think about it, filming that show served a dual purpose: quickly cutting together a preview clip for use as a Australian tour promotion, while they're editing the entire show for a possible TV special (and please Lord, a Blu-Ray disc this time so we can see the ladies in HD) to keep CW top-of-mind in the States while they're touring across the pond. Well done!

The best thing is that so many of the moments on the clip looked exactly like the show I saw in person in March. Watching the special will almost be like re-living it again. Can't wait!

I agree on the Blu-Ray 100%. Sadly, I won't be going to see them (CW) unless something good happens in the next few days. Even then, it'll be a big push to get there.

Máiréad mentioned on Twitter, and linked to this same video, that it is a "special for PBS!" so the fall pledge drive looks likely.

Based on information from CW.com, and Chloe/Mairead themselves via twitter, this is in fact due to be released as Celtic Woman's newest PBS special. It is a live recording of this year's tour production, which turned out to be a sort of best hits compilation. Based on buzz from PBS it looks like it may not be released until spring, but we are hoping for a fall release.

Not many details have been confirmed with 100% certainty, but we know one thing for sure:

hmmm? I would think it would come out before spring I would imagaine! Maybe not till dec or january but next spring they will be in the midst of touring so w pbs pledges and selling tickets during their pledgeathons! I hope they will release it earlier than march. Unless they just use beleieve and sell from that and explain?  Thank you though and I can't wait!

The fall pledge drive makes the most sense seeing how CW is finishing up their US tour and better to capitalize on it while still somewhat fresh.  The American public, sadly, tends to have a very short attention span.

I'd be surprised if we hear anything before August.  Heck, we might not hear anything until it simply appears on station's programing list.

Oddly enough, I never, ever see CW on my local PBS station except for the Christmas show.  They run Celtic Thunder once or twice a week, nearly every week, but never CW.  I would hope they will run it during the pledge drive.  They might actually get some money out of me if they do.

Of course this raises all sorts of questions.  I have bought tickets from my local PBS station for several years.  The pledge drive to sell CW tickets always airs first in late November or early December.  They show the most recent DVD filming during the pledge drive.  They can't wait until spring for the pledge drive since the tour always starts during February.  So it may mean that the pledge drives for most PBS stations will air first in the fall and they may just use the "Believe" Atlanta filming to air during the drives if no new DVD filming occurs this summer.  That is my best guess.  Why they will wait to show this year's South Bend concert until next spring is totally inexplicable.

yeah i thought that for a while now thinking they wont start till then but a florida date for february 25th 2014 was posted! so i besides airing believe i am not sure how that'll work! cant wait to see!
