It depends on which stream format they will use, which will determine how well and which software should be used. 

Don't know yet.  Going to work on it this weekend.  I'm sure the site streams its nightly newscast (most do now) so I'll use that as a test.  If I manage to record it, I'll make sure it's available to anyone if the site doesn't post it online themselves.

There is a decent chance it might not happen.  Atlanta is forecast to have thunderstorms most of the week, with a 50-70% chance on Thursday depending on which source you check.

Darn. I was really looking forward to this. :(

Same here; I just spent the last few days figuring out how to record it and will be annoyed if it gets washed out, but what can anyone do?  The weather is beyond our control.

If the show goes on, here's a message I got from WSBTV (notice that the banner will be there when the streaming is available on Thursday nite and hopefully will be obvious and available to us all):

Well, according to the Centennial Park Twitter page, the show will go on no matter what, at least for now.  Although I'm sure if there was a lightening storm they'd send everyone indoors.

Maybe Lisa could sing a cover of CCR's "Who'll Stop the Rain".   ;D

I am going to try; I think the software I have will do it, but I'm going to do more testing tonight just to make certain. So far, everything I've recorded has come out good.

Update: They have now said that if the weather turns severe, the show will likely get postponed/canceled.

I don't know if this means Lisa will be singing early, or it means that they'll just start playing music at 6:30pm.

  I am planning on going, and taking my video camera will hopefully have the video uploaded later this week, or sometime this weekend

Atlanta is Eastern time so 1 hour ahead.

So just like me, the show is expected to start @ 8:00pm, but I'd keep an eye on WSB-TV's website in case they decide to go earlier due to weather.

I was just watching the WSB 4:00 PM news to do a final test of my recording software.  They were doing a live report from Centennial Olympic Park.

In the background, you can see the stage and they're doing sound checks.  You could hear someone singing, which the reporters noted sounded amazing.  I'm guessing it was Lisa.

I'll see if I can get the video of it online.

And during the commercial break, they had a commercial for the show.  The brief video & picture of Lisa were from her singing The Voice.

Part of me wishes I was there; but part of me is glad I am not.  If I was, I'd be sitting there in the rain with my $3,300 DSLR and lens to get as many pictures as possible of Lisa.  The camera and water would not mix, but I wouldn't be able to resist taking pictures.  If the weather had been perfect, I seriously considered just charging the ticket and flying there yesterday and coming back tomorrow, but alas, Mother Nature made the decision for me.  Maybe next year if she sings again.

Thanks for the links, AG. It's all pretty exciting, hope it rains itself out before 9 pm EDT. That would be a major letdown.

Right now it is looking good.  WSB just has their radar running on the live feed, and Atlanta looks to be in the clear for a while.  Just needs to hold out for 2 hours and all will be good.

I'm planning on watching it.. hopefully  my internet will cooperate

she looks great! Definitely like the brown better on her the blonde just isn't lisa! But, I know I hate to ask but does any one have a video of her singing tonight? I was sleeping due to having to work tonight and missed it :( I also know she said 2 songs so maybe she'll sing again soon?

It was just great to hear her perform again. She seems really happy doing what she's doing, but you could recognize that old sparkle in her eyes being on stage again. I'll bet part of her does miss it. But she seems to have found the life she loves. God bless her. Glad we were able to share that as a group together - it was kind of neat to know forum friends were watching at the same time. And thanks to AG for setting it up.

Just another reminder why we love Lisa.

Performing will always be part of who Lisa is, one of the very best parts.  I doubt she'll ever give it up completely.  I'm sure we'll see things like this again and probably sooner or later a new CD or something with Chloe.  And I would be surprised that if David does decide to get as many of the girls back as possible for a 10th anniversary special that Lisa wasn't part of it.

If anyone wants the entire show, let me know.  It's an hour and over 600mb so unless someone just really wants it, I'm not going to upload the file.

I've put all three videos, the sound check, the first interview, and the part of the show with Lisa singing and the second interview, into .zip file.

If you'd like the file, just say so here or PM me and I'll send it to you.  I do not like to post links to any file hosting site on an open forum so please indulge my quirk in that regard.  If you already asked, you'll get the PM in a bit.

I feel that way too - but I want that to happen so badly I'm almost afraid to even think it, because I'll be that much more disappointed if it doesn't. Don't want to jinx it. I so hope they're planning something big right now,   :)

David's a smart guy; I'm sure that fertile brain of his is chugging away with all kinds of ideas.  I'm already getting my passport, just in case they do something next year in Ireland.  If not, I'll have it for whenever I do take a trip overseas.

Still getting used to the hair but she  was great from what I saw and she looked beautiful to! I wonder what the second song was? O'America was the second song.  The first was the opening number with the other guy, the kids, etc.

And I can't get used to the hair.  It just doesn't look right on her.

Cool! What was the opening song?! Was it something we all know it was it a special duet w the guy and the kid ( which r those her students I'd presume?) it's our Lisa and it has to be amazing!

Got one interview and both songs downloaded. Will check them when I get back, like  the brown hair better but sounds like Lúthien Tinúviel is still in fine voice ;D

The first song was "One Voice" by Wailing Jennies.  I don't know if the kids were her students but they may have been.  We did see them singing that same song during the interview.

The kids were from a group here n Georgia, not her students, unfortunately.

awww! Just saw the video! Wow! what a gorgeous song! Never heard it before and I like it! And the kids t-shirts say they are from the local high school choir group *probably a select one)! I remember our select choirs in school use to go and sing at a lot of different events and travel, I thin that's great! And everyone did a great job!!
