We have been voting for Mairead as the top violinist and more recently we have been voting for Meav and some of the other girls as top singer.  I checked the site for "drummer" and "percussionist" and found they have those topics but Ray Fean was not listed under either category.  I had to register on the site to add him to both lists.  Then I voted for him and added some comments.  Now anyone can vote.  At last check the drummer category had two pages and he was listed on the second page as no. 171.  The percussionist category had one page and he was listed at no. 19.  Not nearly as many performers are listed under percussionist.  Well, I got it started so will the rest of you please help to get Ray up the ladder where he deserves to be?

How often can you vote?

Sarah, I vote how often my computer lets me.  It is usually about once a week for me.  But you can vote on a different computer or mobile device.  If you vote on three computers, it should be about once a week (or every few days)
for each one.  I hope this helps.  :)

It let me vote today.  Ray is up to no. 4 for percussionists and no. 117 for drummers.  We have made a lot of progress since I first nominated him.  Thanks everyone and keep it up.

I finally got to meet Ray at Houston.  He came and talked to our little group in back of the venue.  I introduced myself.  He signed my program.  I told him that I had nominated him under two categories.  It was funny.  I told him we were voting for other CW artists on thetoptens.com and I checked out drummers and percussionists and could not find him.  He then laughed and shrugged his shoulders in a self demeaning manner.  Anyway, I told him we had him moved up the standings to no. 2 under percussionists and he was very appreciative, almost flattered.  I got a couple of pics and our group had a nice visit with him.  A really nice guy.  He is deserving.  I also told him that we have five or six people that vote for him weekly on this thread and he said "thank you" in a sincere manner.

Just voted twice.  Ray has gone from nowhere to no. 2 under percussionists with more than double the third place individual thanks to us forum members.  He is at no. 77 under drummers but first place only has 10% so there is room for a lot of upward movement if we just stay with it.

I met Ray the first time this year at Houston and got some pics.  Also met and visited with him at Tulsa.  He was very flattered that we are voting for him here on the forum.

Just voted again under both categories.  Ray is still a solid second under percussionists.  He was no. 76 under drummers, up one from last week.  When I voted he went up to no. 75.  There is a lot of room to move him up under drummers as the vote is so spread out.
