Title: Any videos of Deirdre talking? Post by: Kimberly AJ on May 01, 2014, 05:50AM I went to Youtube and typed "Deirdre Shannon talking" and I tried some videos, but I don't think she sounded mature enough. Do you think there will be some of her talking in a mature voice?

I have about 23 minutes worth - high quality recording. Really nice. You will enjoy it. It has been a while since I've listened but recall it was so nice to hear her voice just talking. correctly you should be able to download. You don't need a dropbox account. There are two files, About 20-25 MB each. There are MP4 files. Actually video files I believe. The quality is very good. Each file 10-12 minutes. It was an interview on a Irish radio station. Approximately three years ago. About the time she was finishing the recording of her latest CD, anamceol. Deirdre just seems so down to earth. and her pronunciation of Meav's name seems quite foreign to the way I have been pronouncing it. It could be a matter of local accents and dialects and such. But very interesting. 8)
