The first issue of Alex's newsletter came out today by email to those who signed up. Lots of good information there. She is also asking for information from her fans. Here is an excerpt:

"GETTING TO KNOW "YOU!"
Ok, so I have been wanting to do this for a long time now. I love getting to know you all a bit through FB and the messages you post on the website and the fanforum.
I find it extremely humbling to read about your personal stories, how open you have been with me and how you came in contact with me through Celtic Woman, and how their music has been a source of good in your lives. I have really been inspired by your feedback to Be Still My Soul and I want to turn the spotlight on you guys because I think your stories should be heard and shared with everyone!"

She is asking fans to send her short videos that tell a little bit about you, how you first came in contact with Celtic Woman/Alex and how the music has touched you, and which song on the new album "Be Still My Soul" means the most to you and why. If you love Alex and always wanted to tell her how much her music has meant to you, this is your chance. She even went on to say that she would post the videos on her website. Haha, you are like me. I emailed and asked her if it would be OK if I wrote mine, instead of video. She said that would be fine.  :)

  I  mean  that  I  signed  up  for  the  news letter-not  for  doing the  video. I  would  if  I  knew  how,  though.     :-[

I have received her first email newsletter.

I haven't gotten any of her email newsletters... and I signed up a couple weeks ago...

Check your spam folder.  Newsletters are one of the most commonly misidentified e-mails by the spam filters.

  Yes....that  is  where  I  found  mine, in  fact ....

I like that idea, do you mail it to her or email it to her. 

In the newsletter, there is an email address listed where she asked people to send the videos - you can also use that same address if you are writing instead. That's where I sent mine.  :)

"Ok folks! thank you SO MUCH for e-mailing in your stories and your videos, it's been very humbling and quite an emotional experience reading about your experiences with the album....they will be posted onto the website this weekend.....so don't forget to check in there and read and view and share and comment!

 what happened to the rest of the rest of the stories?

I've been wondering the same thing. I emailed her mine and it never got posted  ???

She later posted on FB about "technical difficulties" with that part of the site. Where I work, we do websites with whole teams of people working on them, and there are often delays. And I get the feeling from what she has said, that she's doing a lot of the work herself. I'd also bet that she received more submissions than expected. It may take time, but she has said that this project is close to her heart, so I'm sure she's doing everything she can to get more up.

 I  haven't  seen  any  updates  on that as of  yet. Like  you, I  anxiously  await  that news.  :-\   

I alway's wanted to share how much she has helped me so much as a teen going through trying to figure out alone about myself, discovering myself and life through at the time dealing with all the changes in life in High School.
I was a fan of Celtic Woman since the beginning but 2008 was a breakthrough for me taught me about myself, be strong, these
soloist, showed me what it was to be different, accept and be happy with my true unique self not trying to follow others or be like them.
Graduating 2009 was like Song's From The Heart first for her I saw her 3 times live, and as much Lynn was the more similar to I shy, in the beginning,
Alex inspired me to confidence, until now it's Chloe, we're 1 year apart so to see both she and I went through a ride of changes, from being young,
to watch her now I was 15 and today 24 it's like I follow her footsteps..

My Heart is Home Again, the trips I've done, a bus that leaves at 8:15 climb aboard risk everything, Celtic Woman at the time my companion, on my side..
It would be hard to decide what to say, there is so much she gave as with Celtic Woman.
