Title: Webcams
Post by: Jim M. on November 04, 2014, 12:10PM
It seems there are webcams everywhere.  Post a link here if you have a favorite.
Here is a link to some in different areas of Oregon:  http://www.kval.com/weather/cameras

There's just one problem. I clicked on Diamond Lake, but there's no image.

Kim, it looks like that camera has been down for 2 months.  It would probably just show the highway and not the lake.
The ODOT cameras are used to keep track of road conditions.  You can google Diamond Lake Lodge or Diamond Lake Resort for photos of the lake.  I remember you had a good time at the lake. :)
Try this one:  http://diamondpeak.com/mountain/mountain-cam

Thanks, Jim. :) Who ought to make sure the cams stay in positions?

Most of the road cams are operated by the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT).
Other cameras are owned by private companies or other people.

That's also where the Aqua crittered Cuddlekins are. I wonder if kids of this generation might get any.

Yes, Kim, and those are just the weather webcams.  There are many more unrelated to weather.
