I wonder if Destiny is a new original song, kinda like Songs From The Heart :O

I think Destiny is the intro before When You Go, it was called Terloc something in the DVD, it's just Mairead on the violin.

I just.... I can't even.... WHY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

For God's sake I could've done without Orinoco Flow! And especially You Raise Me Up! Just bring back Mo Ghile Mear!

:) I love Amazing Grace & Orinocco Flow
:) I'm happy about Níl Sen La but shocked they kept it surprisingly instead over Teir Abhaile Riu. :o
:( As for Mo Ghile Mear no comment,  ;) I like it so much but ten years change is good, look how quick Parting Glass is gone
Compared. :(

Wow - Looks like When You Go is an intro! ;D Oh BoY!

I never got to see Awakening Live!

I'm not too surprised to see The Parting Glass gone. After all, it's been with us since 2012. But I really could do without YRMU! Mo Ghile Mear is my favorite CW song!

I think Westering Home is considered as the new Mo Ghile Mear/The Parting Glass. I really love this song as well but Celtic Woman and David produced such a unique and perfect rendition of Mo Ghile Mear, at every show I went I was always looked forward to hear and sang along hahaha

I can see Westering Home being the new show ending in place of The Parting Glass. It's a song that hearkens back to the place where one grew up, the joy of returning there, and the feeling of happiness at being with your family.

But Mo Ghile Mear is a classic! It's been around since the first tour and is one of those songs that every Celtic Woman fan knows! Personally, I feel they should've started the second act with Mo Ghile Mear and then did Skyrim. Those two songs would work beautifully together. And since Mairead comes out at the end of Mo Ghile Mear, it'd be the perfect transition into Skyrim.

Plus it's my favorite CW song! It's the song that made me fall in love with them!

Act I is done in Köln. It has been amazing so far. Some songs have slightly different arrangements compared to the Destiny CD which makes them even better. I See Fire for example. The new arrangement of Danny Boy is my favourite of all arrangements so far.
Lookimg forward to acr II

Was the version of "I See Fire" by any chance similar to the album version.  You know, with Mairead Nesbitt and the choir.

The arrangement was quite different imo. The song built up more, more orchestra, band and choir towards the end. But no Máiréad

The finale is by Máiréad though. Anthony's bagpipe finale goes right into hers.  Similar to the finale she did earlier with Mo Ghile Mear reprise, with solos by every musician. Then all the girls and choire joined and they did some kind of When You Go reprise, but without leading vocals, just like the backing vocal. After this Finale/When You Go (Reprise) there was a When You Go Playout additionally.

Also, I'd have much rather At The Ceili as the ceili song. Nil Se'n La is lovely, but they have done it just too often, while they haven't performed ATC in AGES, also it's perfect fro three girls - just imagine Susan as Lisa, Éabha as Órlagh and Mairéad as Méav - and also, they would at least feature one David Downes song then.

Much as I hate to poop on anyone's party, but with David no longer being affiliated with Celtic Woman, they may not have the rights to any of his original material.

I highly doubt that, otherwise they couldn't use his arrangements either. Also, just because he is not actively working with them, doesn't mean he would take all song rights away from them, considering he wrote the songs for them.

I don't seem to see Danny Boy on the setlist,  :-* NOW, I can't imagine there being another new arrangement even better than the SFTH version although Si Di M was a Major surprise! I loved it even more than Ore Se B.

Westering Home is being as a replacer more for The Parting Glass to me rather than Mo Ghile Mear, but TPG worked So---So well for a farewell for concert audiences from a show!

Title: Re: European Tour

As if Mo Ghile Mear couldn't get a newer arrangement, I'm more surprised Si Di M the newer now Destiny version is no where on this tour looks to be. I figured someone could take over but as it being a Meav present, seems otherwise Meav gave us the last bid farewell for it since it's not on tour anymore the old version has been presented since it's presence back on the Emerald TOur til now.

My fav is mo ghile mear which should always be kept as a closer at least. Taken dulaman out I can deal w and a few oldies. Maev probably wanted it to be as new as can be w only one or two new areangements of oldies. The last 3 tours here were all te same music so I think she wanted to vere from that.

SUPER excited to hear Eabha's take on Harry's Game! I think that was my second favorite Orla song (behind Innisfree). Such a beautiful and truly haunting melody. Though I must admit I am still deeply saddened and disappointed at the departure of Mo Ghile Mear.

Hey btw! Did the girls don any Ceili dresses this tour? If so, for what? Due to the spacing of the songs, the only place I can see that happening would be Tir Na Nog going into Danny Boy and then Nil. But personally I don't think it looks as good singing Tir Na Nog and especially Danny Boy in anything but their full-length gowns.

CWX had four (4) which was ((Outstanding)), unlike the normal 2 with 1 ceili dress.

there was one dress for each act, as far as I remember.

What about the ceili dresses?

Me too! I ADORE Walk Beside me. Stunning! And I'm so happy for her signing Harry's Game, one of my old favs. I just think it would be even better if she sang something like the songs I've mentioned before instead of How Can I. (That is not a bad song! I just don't feel connected with it). But it's just my opinion, obviously!  :)))

I get what you're saying. Tbh, I don't care much for Mairead C's Like An Angel. It's beautiful and her voice is perfection on it. But between that and I See Fire, she doesn't have a song that really captures you. Eabha's Walk Beside Me is such a heart tugging, soulful song. Susan's Whole Of The Moon has a catchy beat to it and she really jams a bit on it with Mairead N while Sometimes A Prayer is a truly gorgeous song that is particularly poignant. I wish they'd given Mairead C something classical, like Nella, or preferably brought back I Know My Love.
