Looks like she's going to be doing some performances in Ireland this year, including:

Darn! Too bad she's not doing any in September because that's when I'm going to Ireland!

Aww. Yeah, that's unfortunate.  :(

That'd be my luck too, I'm afraid.

But there is a big gap between her previous scheduled tour date and that one:

September 2nd 2016    LIVE AT THE RED CLAY MUSIC FOUNDRY, DULUTH, GEORGIA, USA
...
October 22nd 2016     SPECIAL GUEST WITH 'ALED JONES-YOU RAISE ME UP' AT THE NATIONAL CONCERT HALL,    DUBLIN, IRELAND

So maybe there's still hope for another stop in Ireland in September  :)

I watched Chloë's online concert today and OH MY GOODNESS it was amazing!

Her concerts are always fantastic, but this one really blew me away.

Chloë's dad (David) was a special guest and played the oboe in a number of songs.

I thought Dermy's piano accompaniments were even better than usual and this might have been one of the best vocal performances I've ever heard from Chloë. She sang with an incredible amount of passion.

There were a few songs from Heartstrings (her EP), some I haven't heard her sing before, and some I've not heard her sing in a while. I LOVED all the song choices. I'll put the set list in a separate post in case anyone wants to avoid spoilers.

The comments that some of the other Chlovërs put in the chat during the show were really touching and I'm sure they made Chloë's songs even more powerful.

I'm not a person that cries often. I've actually listened to the CW version of Danny Boy without crying ... more than once! I've even gone to the funeral of a close family member without crying ... don't ask me how that happened, because I don't know. But this concert was was beautiful, I couldn't help myself. It connected with me so profoundly that I honestly believe that this is the best concert I have ever attended (and that includes Celtic Woman, which I loved A LOT).

I'm not much of an artist, but I loved this so much this concert I had to attempt something to show my appreciation to Chloë. Here's what I came up with. It's simple, I know, but for me, this is one of the best pieces of "art" I've ever put together.

Hope you enjoy:

SET LIST  -  SPOILER WARNING!

Here is the set list from Chloë's show from home in Dublin, Ireland on August 7, 2016 as best I could remember:

  • Feels Like Home (Chantal Kreviazuk)
  • If I'm Not In Love (Faith Hill)
  • Vincent (Starry Starry Night) (Don McLean)
  • No Longer Mine (Chloë original)
  • Make You Feel My Love (I could be wrong about this one ... I was pretty swept up with emotion by this point)
  • Beauty Seldom Seen ... I thought I heard her say this was a Jim Nelson song, but I can't find it anywhere so far
  • Nella Fantasia (music: Ennio Morricone, lyrics:Chiara Ferraù)
  • What a Wonderful World (Louis Armstrong)

That was a really powerful set list and Chloë's delivery (and Dermy + Papa Agnew's accompaniments) were truly spectacular.

It really was the most deeply touching concert I've ever attended.

If you haven't had a chance to check out Chloë's online shows yet please, don't miss the next one! I've been insanely impressed with her and I was already out-of-my-mind-CWazy for Chloë before any of her online shows.
