Lisa Lambe's working on a new album!   :D

She announced her artist residency at Killruddery (http://www.killruddery.com/) on Twitter.

She'll be creating and recording her new album there this year along with Martin Brunsden and Fiachna Ó Braonáin.

It's quite a nice interview. They cover a lot of ground and Lisa is adorable.

OMG I'm so excited!!! I thought her first album was awesome! I can't wait for her second one!!!

The trouble is, her album isn't available outside of Ireland. In France, all iTunes has is the single "Heaven". I couldn't find it on Amazon. So where can I buy it ?

Oh, BTW, There's another song available on iTunes : "16 Dead Men", after WB Yeates. That one too I bought.

yeah I got "16 dead men" too she's done alot of singing out there, she also did a theme song for a Western movie filmed in Ireland but I can't remember the name of it or the song and also her play "The Bloody Irish" and she sang a part of "The Foggy Dew" at a sporting event earlier this year

Well, that was quick : I got it this morning ! I had ordered it on the 8th, and two days later, it was in my mailbox, in a nice shiny green bubblewrap paper. Will listen to it this evening.

Yes, it is ! Listening to it right now, and it's beautiful. I love country folk.

Lisa seems to be having a great time at Killruddery.

It looks like a really nice and inspiring location.

she told the titles of two songs of hers in an article they are called "Hazelwood" and "Finnuala"

Does anyone have a link to that article (if it was available online)?

If not, I'll go hunting for it a bit.

She mentions Fionnuala in the article, but in the context of this particular reference, it's about a person (Lady Ardee, the CEO of Killruddery).  ;)

It does seem reasonable to have a song about her or named after her given Lisa's residency there.

I'm guessing Hazelwood is about Hazelwood House in Calry, Ireland.

From Lisa Lambe's Instagram post today, we can conclude her new album is to be recorded in December in the Library room at Killruddery.

As I travel on the road , I carry my music sketches and album demos with me and I'm listening & listening and reslistenng snd sketching and thinking ... I am so excited to be recording and capturing it all fully in December in the Library room at Killruddery where it was written and created. I'm proud of the process and very proud to be artist in residence here in this stunning place. Interesting fact: Hazelwood was the setting of the W.B Yeats' "The Song of Wandering Aengus." We know Lisa is a fan of Yeats...

I haven't heard any news in a while, but I'm sure we'll hear something more soon.

At most, you'll hear about it on july 5th or 6th, when I'll post my review of her concert in Paris. Yes, I'm going, I bought the ticket and all.

To start 2018 like this is a dream. I am with Brian Masterson in his beautiful studio making new music I wrote , this Room is comforting place to be to let your voice soar and say what it wants to say. I'm not sure if these new recordings will be on the album she's been working on or if these will be separate (singles or perhaps a separate EP).

Lisa has been doing more recording in LA (along with Ross Hogarth, Paul Bushnell, Gerry Morgan, Jack Tempchin, Colin Devlin, and guitarist Jake Curran) at Fever Recording Studios / Clear Lake Recording Studios.

Lisa was back in the recording studio today!

Lisa has wrapped up 10 days of working on her music projects in Ireland and in LA.

It sounds like she's up to a lot of exciting stuff!
