Only think I can think of that I haven't done yet is to ask the girls. I'm kind of pushing my luck asking them all this stuff. Does someone else want to try? Oonagh apparently wrote them. They're not Gaelic or German. It's possible it's some documented dialect of the fictional Elvish language, but given that I can't find the meaning of the words documented anywhere, I suspect Oonagh made up the words. It's possible it was derived / inspired by a blend of German and Irish, but that's about it. I suppose they have some meaning that Oonagh's aware of but it's also possible they have no meaning and just sounded cool.
Here's the show. The part in which they talk about Tír na nÓg https://www.facebook.com/manstuff/videos/1683796561654783/ Title: Re: Tir na nog chorus Post by: Danny on August 30, 2017, 10:56AM It's definatly not German at all, no dialect, not inspired by German since there are no similarities (I'm German). As far as I know Oonagh often uses some fictional Elvish language in her songs.

If so that would make sense why they would be the Elvish language in the song :-\Here's the show.
