I'm curious to see preferences and to know why people chose the version they did.

I went with Emerald for a myriad of reasons. First and foremost, the Emerald lineup of 4 girls was by far my personal favorite. And I think Emerald may have been my 2nd favorite show after Believe. I also loved how all 3 singers just belted out the climax of the song and made a strong and beautiful sound that rivaled even the ANJ version in strength, but with half the amount of singers! Before Emerald was released ANJ was my fave so that is high praise from me.

Personally, I give the VoA version a VERY slight edge over the Emerald version.

Emerald is my favorite version of the classic arrangement since they bypassed the drum solo, which, while it's fun, sort of interrupts the momentum of the song as it builds toward it's epic conclusion. The drum solo works better for the DVD.

Personally i can't go choose 1 over between classic Mo Ghile Mear over VOA Mo Ghile Mear.
I chose Emerald as well for these factors:

1. The instrumentation replicates the high thrill energy excitement of the live tour shows.
2. VOA is outstanding, however the classic version still is the iconic representation symbol of is Celtic Woman
3.  I love the energy of Lisa Lambe and Mature Chloe!!

notes- the drum solo, which I like to have fun as if I'm the girls turning around and walking leaving the stage prior to Mairead N solo entrance.
The strongest vocal climax to me though ever was during the 2008 ANJ tour with Alex, Lynn, Orla, and Chloe even more over than Isle of Hope cast...

I picked the ANJ version. :)

Does TGJ version really have just the four Chloe taking the normal CW role in place of Hayley's role. (?)

On the TGJ album (at least in the release I have), Chloë sings that line, even though the track is mostly a live recording from Slane Castle.

There used to be Mo Ghile Mear from TGJ album on YouTube, but I guess it got removed or made private because I can't find it now.

Hmm. It might be regionally blocked then. I'll have to experiment with a proxy at some point.

I love all the versions but the VOA version is just... WOW!!! I'm obsessed with it!
