Last week, Eabha and Susan flew from Dublin to the US for a PBS promotional tour with Celtic Woman.

Eabha made it safe and sound, but her bags, apparently, did not.

It's been over 4 days now and after getting conflicting information and even the silent treatment from Aer Lingus support, the airline still doesn't know where her bags are.

So now Eabha's got to replace all her luggage.  :'(

I assume she'll file a claim with Aer Lingus whether they find her luggage ultimately or not. Presumably Celtic Woman will pick up the tab while she waits. I'd hate for her to be out of pocket because of this.  :'(

Oh no! That's terrible!!! Does she need anything???

I asked her, but so far she hasn't let us know she's in dire need of assistance.

She's travelling with Susan, so Sue lent Eabha some clothes and Eabha did a bit of shopping too.

If she gives the ok, I will definitely support her if she needs some shopping money.

God, that's awful! Does she need anything; clothes, toiletries, etc?

Update:

Aer Lingus finally found her bag!!!

It was in Washington, Dulles, the whole time, but was in the United baggage room for some reason.

Eabha's relieved it's not lost and that the ordeal is over.

She's also grateful for everyone that helped get the attention of Aer Lingus.  <3

Eabha wanted to check the United baggage room while she was still at the airport, since there were other bags sitting around in there. But the staff told her it wouldn't be in there, since it was for another airline.

Well, Eabha's instincts were correct and she finally has her bag back.

I'm so glad it all got worked out!!! That was an awful situation!
