I enjoyed the behind the scenes. I also found that if you click on the Artist website, then Enter. Now scroll down to Anne Murray Duets: Friends and Legends. In that Paragraph there is a link to see "Postcards From the Road." Click it and see a beautiful picture of Celtic Woman.
Sorry I didn't post the picture I am clueless with that stuff. ;D ;D

YIPPEEEEE

For as long as I can remember Anne's music has been a way to enjoy a travel trip in the car.

easy music with a VOICE of an angel     *aaaahhhhhhh*  sit back and shut your eyes.......     nothing better to do........

some time soon I will try to get the entire collection of Anne's music.
that will be added to the collection of music from CW ladies and others that
I have to list in a journal book..    the list is that long!!!!!    ;D

THANK YOU ARIA !!!  for finding the link and  to Jason for sending it over here!!!

That picture has her between Orla and Lisa, alright.

By the way, I sense to see that I see Chloe in an alternative outfit with a layered skirt on it.

Hey...  maybe CW will include "Song for the Mira" in a future CD or concert.  Might sound real nice with their harmonies!

Great find...  great picture and video....  some really nice songs with ALL-WOMEN "duets".

I thought I heard Orla have a solo too?  Maybe it was my mind playing tricks, it's harder to pick them out when they are singing lower notes.  I really like the song they sing and some of the others.  This is one that is getting put on my list to get.

That's why I love AccuRadio. I get to listen to Raining Up sometimes when it comes on.... as well as the other girls' solo cds.

Yesterday I was listening and it was sooo amusing.... Orlagh's version of Siuil a Ruin had just ended and guess who came on next?   Lisa Kelly with her version of the same song.... lol

How absolutely awesome!!!!  I would never have thought of this kind of a crossover for the girls, but it really sounds just perfect.....what a beautiful song! I don't know that I've heard this song elsewhere before (at least that I can remember), but it's fantastic! Two thumbs way up!

Can you show me the lyrics of "Song For The Mira"?

Title: Re: Celtic Woman duet with Anne Murray
Post by: Jason on November 17, 2007, 03:34PM
I think this is about right anyway..

AM: Out on Mira on warm afternoons
AM: Old men go fishing with black line and spoons
AM: And if they catch nothing they never complain
AM: And I wish I was with them again

C: As boys in their boats call to girls on the shore
C: Teasing the ones that they dearly adore
O: And into the evening the courting begins
O: And I wish I was with them again

Chorus:
All: Can you imagine a piece of the universe
All: More fit for princes and Kings
All: I'll trade you ten of your cities For Marion Bridge
All: And the pleasure it brings

L: Out on the Mira on soft summer nights
L: Bonfires blaze to the children's delight
M: And they dance round the flame singing songs with their friends
M: And I wish I was with them again

Chorus

CW: Now I'll conclude with a wish you go well
AM: Sweet be your dreams, and your happiness swell
CW: I'll leave you here for my journey begins
CW: I'm going to be with them
All: Going to be with them
All: I'm going to be with them again

Chorus

CW: I wish I was with them
AM: Wish I was with them
All: I'm going to be with them again

I don't know if this has been posted elsewhere -- if it has, sorry for the double-post -- but the newest CD from Anne Murray, Anne Murray's Christmas Album (to be released Oct. 7 2008) will include something special:

http://www.annemurray.com/news_content.html

Quote
The Canadian version will have a bonus DVD of Anne’s 2008 TV special Friends & Legends.

Anne Murray’s Christmas Album features:

*Four new recordings (15 tracks in total) *Bonus DVD - “Friends & Legends” TV special (broadcast on CBC Television earlier this year) with behind the scenes documentary on the making of Anne’s CD, “Duets” Friends & Legends with many of the duet performances from the CD.

Since I believe that this special, which aired on the CBC, included the footage of Anne Murray with CW, this may be an album that fans will want to get -- to see that footage in DVD quality...

Ok, my CD/DVD arrived today from the Anne Murray Center... the girls part on the DVD isn't an actual performance, it's just an expanded version of the video you can see you Anne's website. Anne talks a little about CW and Órlagh talks a bit about Anne.... and there's a bit more video of the recording process, and that's it.

??? Why did I just now find out about this? What other duets has Celtic Woman done with other bands that I've missed? I know they did the PS22 choir, recently. I guess this will show me that I should check out this section more often.
