This picture looks so ethereal, I just thought she needed some angel wings!
And some fairy wings for the fiddle fairy.  :)

That one looks a little scary from the eyes.

That's actually what I was going for.  The original photo basically highlights "the look" she gets when she's about to fiddle her fingers off.  I wanted to accentuate them a little more, and then turn everything purple.  ;D

Purple is good. "The look" could melt the icecaps so you can't go wrong with that. Nice banner too.

I feel like a snowman in August. They're all beautiful. It helps to have an ideal subject though.

If anyone knows where I can find larger versions of these pictures, please let me know.  These are the actual size, so I didn't have a lot of pixels to work with.

Did you say pixels or pixies?  ;D ;D. I haven't seen the top one, but the second one used to be on Maireads' site. Bigger is better as far as pictures are concerned. Not for fiddlin' fairies themselves though.  ::).

I want to make up a special book to present to her at some point. Some are also going to be used in my poetry books as background photos. Aren't they you know who?  ;).

I had a request for a teal version of Mairead.  So here she is  :)

She has great appeal in teal! Then again it is a shade of green and she seems to fancy that.

In an interview she played down her external beauty as simply above average. I don't remember where i saw that but it was a written interview posted somewhere here. She seems very humble and down to earth about it all. While she may recognize her beauty inside and out i get the impression she does not find it extraordinary. If she uses we who love her as a mirror though, she'll know she is someone very special. Fiddler, you really do great work! Thanks as always for your lovely creations.
