I'm a little confused, I just took a look at Celticwoman.com and there I see that only the tourdates in Germany are still written on the page. Does that mean they will only come to Germany now? I mean I'll only go to concerts in Germany, but it makes me wondering. If that is so, then I guess Lotte and Jammers really have to come to Düsseldorf to see the girls. Title: Re: Only Germany??? I can only remember the christmas time in 2006 when there was a little advertisement on the commercial breaks on TV but that really was all. I can't remember ever having seen ANJ being advertised anywhere. Of course the concerts are also just advertised in the cities they take place in, but that really is all. I think they should find a way to show part of "A New Journey" on TV in all European Countries. Then maybe just play in major cities. They might have to take a loss to get things started, but I think it would be worth it. With the amount of political disruption, uncertainty, and economic problems, people need something pleasant to watch. Then....we were hooked....... That is somehow how I found out about them, though for me it was the advertisement during a commercial break. I loved the singing in that commercial break so everytime I had my TV running I hoped it would come up again so I can remember what group would make such a great music. Also a big problem is that if CW concerts are shown on TV (I think they showed the first show a few times already), they are usually shown on not so popular channels and the times are also not to the best advantage. Well lets just hope that in the progress of the time that leads to the concerts, we will see more about CW in Germany. I only can underline the comment of some preposters about advertising. Celtic Woman still is not a name that sells for itself over here like maybe in other regions around the world. The vast majority of people you'd ask on the streets would just look puzzled, going like Celtic who? There is work to be done. I mean i am doing all i can, having converted most of my friends meanwhile but that can only go so far. Anyways: it wont help neither the business nor the fans over here much to just set up another concert date, see if the hall fills of itself and cancle it if not. That's what i had to expirience twice now already: first with a concert tour announced by Hayley Westenra in late 2006, then with CW in summer 2007. I found out that the internet site eventim.de already sells tickets for this concert. It's not on celticwoman.com, yet but out of curiosity I wrote an email to the hosts of the Salzburgarena, where this concert will take place. They confirmed it. I also wrote an email to celticwoman.com, but I haven't gotten an answer from there, yet. So if there are any Austrian Celtic Woman fans or fans who live near there prepare for the official selling of those tickets. :) I hope it's ok that I post these information here. The whole Tour was rescheduled, and my local TV station WMFE said Celtic Woman will be here in Orlando on 27th September, but it is not on the Tour Schedule. I asked WMFE for confirmation, and got this on 24th April: Maggie - Yes, the September 27th date for Orlando is still active. I'm not sure why their Web site doesn't list the concert, but this information has been confirmed by our department from the High Kings tour representative. Anyway I think we need to be careful with all the dates. We never know if this tour really will take place or not. It wouldn't be the first time. Eventim can't only sent the ticket to you in 1-2 days so it's to late to order them. The concerts are almost sold out, but there are still tickets from local agencys.

Me and my wife have been at the concert in Stuttgart yesterday and i thought i'd share a few thoughts with you lot. Alright here we go. Obviously and as you all may have expected the show did fulfill my expectations completely, it was breathtaking, charming and enchanting. A wonderful experience. The program was that of "A New Journey" so i was able to sing along most of the pieces - hopefully quiet enough not to disturb my neighbours hehe :) A few things coming to my mind when i think about yesterday evening that are worth mentioning beside the wonderful time we had: #1 Lisa's dress in the second part was gorgeous. When the light was still low it looked as if it was a black robe, then when the lights slowly became brighter it turned from black into a dark red - like red wine - with a satin black shimmer about it. Fantastic piece of clothing and Lisa looked absolutely fabulous in it! #2 I consider it a matter of politeness from the audience to the performers to be back seated after the break in time, especially when there is a "five minutes!" announcement. Sadly significant parts of the audience in Stuttgart decided not to be polite and came back only when they noticed the second part had already started. Because of this Lynn (who opened after the break) had to sing with lot's of people still returning from the break and getting seated. Sorry for that, Lynn! :( #3 The concert got a bit of a negative touch after it was over. The last note was played, the audience still standing and applauding frenetically. The lights went on but nobody was leaving the room. There was lots of cheering and clapping going on still and i would have expected that they would come back and would it even have been only for a quick wave or a bow. But after a few minutes the only ones that came were the Roadies starting to pack up the intruments and the applauding finally faded. I know this is getting "state of the art" in performances all over the world these days but i personally consider it a bad development as it is a sign of appreciation from the performers (in general) to the audience. If the message of this is intended to be "money earned, beer'o clock" then i can say: message received! :-X But all this shall not throw a negative light on the performance in total so once again: the concert was reeeeeeeally great and i was so happy to see Celtic Woman perform live for the first time in my life (and in almost original cast)!!! I saw Lynn for the first time yesterday and she definately is NOT "Meav's substitute" - but in a very positive manner. She brought her very own style of performance and personality to the show, did a wonderful job and complemented the other girls perrrrrrfectly!!! So all that is left to say for now is WELL DONE!!!
