My wife and I were sitting beside a couple at one of the shows this year, and they were telling us they had been to multiple shows (I can't remember how many, but I think even more than us).  As I read posts on this forum, it appears many of you have seen multiple shows.

Now for starters, who is "CW Crazy" enough to have attended more CW Tour Concerts than me?????  I know you're out there, but even if you haven't been to more than me post up and let's see who are the "craziest of the crazies."  :)

MEET & GREET & LUNCH & DRINK  kinda like pre Orlando show.

Well, as of today...the season has not yet ended...there are two more concerts, yet.

They will be my first. When I first got involved in the forum, I was surprised at those who went to multiple concerts...now it seems completely normal.

Well, I have only been to one and that was this yr in March! March 22nd to be exact! And I hope to go next yr! yeah!

Only one, April 24th.  It was my graduation gift to myself.  Took my best friend and had a blast.  Can't wait till next year, will be going to more.  Would have liked to go to the last one, but since my brother is getting married at 2pm on Saturday I didn't think there was a way of getting back in time for his wedding, sorry the wedding wins out over Celtic Woman, that's about the only thing that does.

I only went to three:

They better come back to Charlotte! Charlotte was too nice to them for them not to come back! Please come back CW!

   Hi Kimberly, thanks for the welcome.  You may remember me from previous forums (I was part of the old, old, old forum from early summer of '05 when Paul went on and wrote "hello, anybody here" which was followed by a huge echo.  A couple of weeks later the forum was replaced by the one most consider the "original" forum.  I was the one who first coined the phrase "CW Nut" whilest laying traps for folks to admit that their fave was Orlagh.  So much water under the bridge, er, make that standing O's for CW.  Anyway, glad to see another forum has emerged and that there's life w/ a new generation of fans.

Sad would be if you never saw them. Seeing them twice is great and you got to experience the Wolftrap show which I thought was extra special.

I like how many of us attended the same shows. I attended Philly and Wolftrap also  ;D

Baltimore was special also simply because it was my first. Theres nothing like that first time your hear "The Sky and the Dawn and the Sun" live and find yourself completely blown away by it.

I have been very lucky.   
I was in Minneapolis in 2005 for 2 shows. 
In 2006 I was in Toronto, Spokane, Seattle, Portland, and Vancouver.   
In 2007 I was in NYC for 2 where I was also lucky to see them at the Barnes & Noble signing.   

The best part of all the shows was the opportunity to meet folks from the forum.   As much as I like to see the girls perform,  the deciding factor now as to whether or not I go to any more shows are the gatherings of fans.   For me it is as much about meeting and spending time with fans as it is about the show.    My wish is that the girls will continue successfully to make it to a 5 year anniversary tour so that we as a fan group can plan a special 5th anniversary gathering/convention.    That would be something if we could create a special convention where all fans can have an opportunity to gather and maybe even have a special guest appearance by the girls.   Luckily something like that is still a few year away but is something perhaps to think about.    In the mean time more and more folks seem to be planning gatherings for various shows, such as the current Ft Myers show.   I can still fondly remember the first great public gathering in Toronto.    I hope there are many more such gatherings, and that stories and photo's can be shared from each.

Quality of the music
Quality of spending time listening to the girls and all of the CW group live
Quality of the friends I have had the priviledge of not only attending shows with, but some of who have become good friends.

Being able to share in others joy of watching CW in concert is just priceless.

I like the way you think!  A definite highlight of my Red Rocks experience was meeting forum people.  A CW show is incredible no matter what...but being able to share it with other people who "get it" is so fun!  Maybe CW Management will be reading this thread  ;)

Since discovering Celtic Woman during the Christmas holidays in 2006, I've attended (3) concerts and plan to continue attending any future ones within driving distance.  They are the first group to ever peak my interest this much.

I now have been to 10 CW shows (including the "Skate For the Heart" event last year), plus also 2 of Meav's solo shows.

I've only been to one show so far, Nashville, Tn Feb. 27, 2008, but hopefully that will change soon

I've seen CW at Radio City for the past three years...awesome performances, all of them! The best part is that each time, they were performing there around my birthday which is March 18th. My parents usually get me the tickets for Christmas because they're AWESOME and they know how much I love CW!!!

I got my ticket for christmas too!!

To this point I've seen ten ANJ concerts and the Christmas concert recording in Dublin. All were marvelous and there were other forum fans at each.

   I've been fortunate enough to attend four.  I regret I didn't get to see Deirdre and Hayley though.   :)

YAYSERZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you were watching CW on my b-day!!!!!!! I wanted to do that last year.... but my birthday was one a sunday and I had midterms the next day.... I think you need to watch the televison to see Celtic Woman and then get the tickets.

The thing is Kim, is that I live in a part of the country that is noware near any larger cities that CW comes. The biggest city around here has a local theater that only seats about 250. And the community collage has a outdoors theater, but that only seats about 500. So, there isn't much around this aera. (no  close PBS around eaither) And for my parents to allow me to go, CW needs to come really close!

but I've seen 1, just IoH in Seattle, they were there for 3 night, I only got to see them once, but once was just fine.

I've seen four. Two in the Woftrap, one in the Hippodrome and one in the Wachovia arena.

I've seen 2 total. One with ANJ in 2008 and one IOH. Both shows in Savannah,Ga.

I've seen two so far.  Both at the Bryce Jordan Center.  I might possibly be travelling to other venues when their new tour comes out, since Celtic Woman (according to the BJC) comes by University Park every 2-3 years. :(

So I have seen only 1 concert so far, this past June in Raleigh.  Its where I found my love for CW!  haha  But I am going to another one in Oct, so that will make 2.  And I'm pretty darn sure that it will NOT be the last one! 

I'm at 39 shows and counting: 6 in 2007, 12 in 2008, and 21 so far in 2009, with 9 more coming up this fall.  I'm addicted (happily so :)) and just can't get enough.  With more money and less work I'd go to every show!  If anyone's interested, I've copied all of my show reviews and experiences from the various forums (including a few that I never posted), added pictures, and consolidated them all on my website (http://www.mrpeabody.us).

I truely envy those who have been to every tour, I wish I wouldve heard of CW a year earlier so I could've seen some of the ANJ tours, but oh well, I'll see more in the future, like in Spring!

WHOA!!!!!!  That's a lot of shows!  But if I could make it to that many (and had the money!!!) I would most likely be going to more concerts, too!!!  I'm like you talia, if I had only learned of them earlier... 

They are very very addicting, but in a good way!   ;D

No way I can beat 39, but I have seen all nine ladies perform with CW...witnessing the transformation from where they hurried off the stage without even acknowledging the applause... to a bow ...to a thank you...  finally the ability to speak at least to full sentences during the course of the concert.  ;)

Only 1 so far. Charleston, SC in 2007. It was one of Lynn's first concerts, and it was the night before Lisa's pregnancy was announced on the website.

I'll be seeing them again in Columbia though!

I have only been to 4 CW concerts, 1 in 2007, 1 in 2008, and 2 so far in 2009. All where in Pittsburgh. By the way, I am so proud! In the latest CW press release, it mentions one of our newspapers comments about CW. We have a strong and loyal following here!

But I will add one concert in Oct, the Akron show. My first time to travel to a show. If that goes well, I may travel to a few more, maybe in Ohio or eastern Pa, since those would be fairly close. Or maybe to one of the many "fests" that are growing in numbers and popularity.

I have seen 2 shows - both IoH's in Oregon this year. I, too, wish I could have seen ANJ - I would almost die to see Beyond the Sea live. But, I'm not complaining at all about the two I went to!!! :D

So far, I've seen 3 of the Ladies' concerts - Radio City Music Hall (New York City) on 3/15/08 and 3/13/09, and the Progress Energy Center (Raleigh, NC) on 6/6/09 (evening show).  I'm hoping to see them again (at least once) during the coming Fall tour.  Unfortunately, I've yet to see a concert with Meav, Deirdre, or Hayley, so I have to get my collective fixes from DVDs and CDs.

My journey with the girls began in late '04 I believe...at last count, I have been enormously blessed and fortunate to have attended approximately 14 shows over the past four or five years. I have a couple more on the itinerary this Fall...

A lot of the smaller number of shows is probably because of a lot of new fans on the forum.  I bet we'll see those counts get higher as time goes on, lol!

Definitely will be seeing that number increase for me soon!  I cannot wait to see CW on their new tour next year!  I am a fan for LIFE!

I think there are several reasons...

Yes many people are new fans. The number of show attendees is certain to increase a lot in the future.

Also, some people may have thought they already answered this thread. I could have sworn I did before, but dont see it. Anyway I know we had a similar discussion before., maybe it was off topic though, or on another CW related forum.

Some people may not wish to answer this. Could be for a few reasons First, what if their boss reads it and says "ah-HA! Smith said he was sick in the hospital for a week last year, but now blogs that he attended something called ForumFest in Chicago!" Or, "IF my wife finds out I was in NY for CW instead of work, my but is gonna be toast!" Also, some people may be a bit ashamed to actually answer. Once its in writing, its there in black & white, and some people may realize they may have an addiction issue. Best for some to just say "oh I dnt know, a few here and there" rather than "I paid $ x,000 of dollars to attend 2 dozen shows in 2009"  Music can be an addiction, good writing on this can be found in the book "This is your brain on music" by daniel levitan. Music can be very good for people too. Music therapy is very effective. So I am not being a dime store Dr Phil and judging people wrong for attending concerts, (and Lord knows I would make Dr Phil pull whats left of his hair out  :D  ) .  For some people, attending CW shows and listening to CW music is the best thing they can do. And for those who say its wrong, I also remind them that there are many many far worse things people do, and music, with its good ponts, is better than other addicitons like drugs, gambling, etc. 

Also, some people just dont talk on forums. I think some people here might wish I was one of those types.  :o   

Wow, the last time I replied in this thread I'd only been to 1 show.  I can say I've been to a few more since then.  I don't count the shows any more because it's not just about the shows.  Yes I love going to see the show, but I love getting to see friends and visiting places just as much.  It's about the whole experience of the trip. 

I think I'd rather count how many friends I've made, cause it's a lot more than the number of shows I've been to.

I have been a fan of CW for a couple three years now and just recently attended my first show in Lubbock. Things being what they are it may be likely that it might be the only one I get to attend. Who knows. It is a caretaker situation with my Grandmother. I am at a loss for help in this situation because most of the rest of our family is out of state. And the ones in state just can't seem to find the time to help. So it is all on me. But that is ok. It was a real honor for me to be able to attend the show because of what I took home with me: a little piece of joy and a soothed soul.

hm... 8 so far..with 2 more next spring at least for CW.
Do Orlagh shows count?..then let's say 9 and 2 more for her too and hoping for many more! ;D

I've been to 4 CW Concerts - Radio City Music Hall (New York City) on 3/15/08 and 3/13/09, the Progress Energy Center (Raleigh, NC) on 6/6/09 (evening show), and the Shea's Performing Arts Center (Buffalo, NY) on 10/31/09.  I have tickets to attend Orla's Chritmas Concert at St. Patrick's Church (Bayshore, NY) on 12/14/09, CW's SFTH Concert at the Hippodrome Theater (Baltimore, MD) on 2/21/10 (evening show), and Meav's Concert at Carnegie Hall (New York City) on 3/12/10.  I'm hoping to get to one or two (maybe a few) more CW SFTH Concerts next Spring - possibly even a M&G if I find the nerve and get lucky.

I've only been to 2 shows :'(...March '08 and June "09. I would love to go to more but I'm unable to travel far. I'll take what I can get. I enjoyed both shows and was on such a high for days afterwards. There simply can never be enough Celtic Woman! ;D

For me, 27 Celtic Woman shows, plus 2 of Meav's solo shows.  But I still remember how for six months when I first joined here I was practically the only person in the Forum to have not attended a show.

I can now proudly say I've been to a CW concert, and an incredible show it was! I'm now thinking that maybe I might go to 2 shows next year, but we'll see how things go.

I have to agree with Mikey! Celtic Woman shows are like Doritos!! You can't have just one!!

Will definitely be going to the concerts in the spring! Hoping to get a M&G as well!

My magic number is nine shows.  Not all of them had meet and greets, but if they did, I was there.  I will admit that I've never had the finances to pay for any of the meet and greets tho...  please don't be upset.

Wow, that's a lot! Care to drag me along sometime? LOL I've only been to one (November 3 in Toledo, OH) but hopefully I'll be going to my second one on April 7 in Detroit, MI next year if I can find someone to go with.

I have been to 2 :( IOH in cleveland in june of 09 (can't really remember the concert since I couldn't see thats how far up I was :() and then songs from the heart cleveland in March of '10, front row!  No m&G :(  But the best experience of my life! Will be going to radio city next month!  No m&G's though but going to makje this quite memorable!!  And hopefully many more to come!

Three shows in three different countries ! First was in Wallingford, CT, United States, second was in Hamburg, Deutschland and the last one was in Paris, France ! :D

Well I have a Filming in Powerscourt Garden 2009 - the first night - the rehearsale from SFTH, than I have a Show in Zürich 2011, and than I have a TV-Show with Celtic Woman in Zürich - and everyone of these nights were special and different, and I had the great luck to see Méav performe in a Church that was maybe my highest highlight ever  ;)

I have been a fan since winter '09, and have attended 7 CW shows(all in Atlanta) so far, plus 2 of Órla's solo shows. :)

    Don't feel bad, tchristina23!  The cast & crew of CW are always thrilled to see new fans at shows and M&Gs!  Depending on what is going on in the lives of individual fans, old fans sometimes drift away and new fans come on the scene!  Now is the time for you to start your own attendance streak! 

  After all, what group is more worthy of loyal fans that these, who are a rare symbol of decency among young people today?  Nobody is more worthy of all the trappings of success in the music business and as an active fan, you are doing important work to support and promote them!  :) :) :)

I've only been to 4 so far.  I've been to 2 in Roanoke, VA, 1 in Salem, VA, and of course, the second night of the Atlanta taping!  And now, I'm going to my 3rd Roanoke show!  I would go to more shows if I could afford it, and if I could get rides (can't drive because of disability), but it's SO HARD to find people to drive or take me, and I can't afford it either.

Sat very near the back for both of those...very excited for the concert in June 2013 where I got seats in row A!! ;D

   I had the milestone of my 40th show this year!  At least a dozen from the front row!  8)

Only one, a Christmas show on the 18th.

Going to see them in May in DFW (Grand Prairie).

Six shows for me and counting.  All in Atlanta...three regular spring tours, the first night live taping at The Fabulous Fox and both Christmas shows at Symphony Hall.  My favorites would be the live taping and the recent Symphony show.

Only eight so far with two coming up this year but at new venues for me.  Both are front row and I'm determined to get Lil' Lambe to sit in my lap.

I GET TO GO TO MY FIRST MEET-AND-GREET!!

Only? Ya lucky barstid! Not as lucky as the (obviously wealthy) addict who follows the tour, but still a lot better off than me. I can't afford airfare, a hotel night and a good seat, so I'm hoping for a show in 2014 within day-trip range of New Orleans. Good luck on getting Lambenated. Hope she doesn't follow the Cat's Rule. Ever try to get an unfamiliar cat to jump into your lap?

I'll be front row with an  M@G    in my neck of the woods.... Minneapolis.   I'll be bringing what I hope is  a Lil' lambe   magnet-   a  Lamb Chop puppet- which I will proudly display.  How could a sweet cutie like her resist that!  Of course she might think I'm completely nuts.... and she would be right.  Nuts about her.    ;D   

If Lil' Lambe does sit in my lap they will have to call security because I will hug her and not let go.

April 2011 - SFTH tour, Cincinnati; didn't have M&Gs but this VERY nice couple sitting next to me and my best friend gave us their M&G passes and so we had the opportunity to meet Lisa Squared! Best moment EVER!!!

Gonna see the girls in Dayton in April! Can't wait!

My first concert will be in Cleveland this April!! I wish I had discovered CW sooner (september)!

Two TAR encounters with the very special, very beautiful one so far---I have been very lucky!  Going for the hat trick in April!  :D 

For a lot of reasons, I haven't been checking in here recently.  I started skimming thru this thread, thinking I may have responded, since it's rather old.  Couldn't find anything (and will I assume there may be some kind of a search function, I haven't bothered to figure it out).

As someone posted earlier, wow, maybe there is such a thing as addiction!!!  At least my wife (of 33 years) says I am in love with 4 women, so she doesn't worry too much.

Anyway, since 2007, I've been to 44 shows, including 17 meet and greets.  5 scheduled for 2013, and I'm looking for a ticket for Indianapolis!  It does tend to make traveling for business a little more bearable!

I am still as excited as I was for the first show.

Just one, at Longview, TX on May 17.  Given my marginal fiscal fitness, that could be my last one.

Don't give up.  although we have attended many shows.  It has been over the 10 years, so it averages out to 1.5 a year.  And many are back to back shows, the same day or next day.

Update: I've been to 4 CW concerts and 1 M&G

Only two so far because my family is not in the best spot financially :(

More than I can remember, but one so far this year (Binghamton), and one more on Saturday night at Bethel Woods.

I love the out-doors concerts (like Bethel) and surely wish they were doing Saratoga Performing Arts right after Bethel like they did 2 years (?) ago.

I believe 7 or 8... not 100% positive though.. I would have to look it up.. but I know I've been to a lot..

4 shows, 3 in Minneapolis and 1 in St. Paul. (I can't really travel since I don't have enough money to cover the costs of a ticket, hotel, etc.) The Minneapolis concert this year (where I had a M&G) will be my last one for a while since I'm going to college this fall and need to start saving my money.

Only two, not nearly enough.  Will be three come December and next year will hopefully be at least that many.

  Ok for my update.   I think at this point I've averaged one a year since 2006 (one year I managed two, which negated the year they skipped Sac.).   All have been in Sacramento save one, and that was near San Jose at the Montalvo Arts Center (I don't think they've ever gone back to that place.  Really nice setting but getting in and out of that place....ugh)  In Sacramento all except this last one have been at the Memorial Auditorium, last month at the Community Center Theater.  

  Have only met Orla, due to the kindness of a former forum member, at a non CW event in '09.
