I MET MAIREAD...I MET MAIREAD!!!!...and Mairead C. and Eabha, too . Saw them after the show as they exited the stage door to go to the bus. MC is such a sweetie , she said she noticed my "Got Mairead?" shirt..."I saw that!"and she signed my Fiddler Crossing sign. Mairead N. and Eabha came out a bit later and chatted with only about 6 people waiting and I said "I think you noticed this" and showed her the reverse side of the Fiddler Crossing sign which said in bold black letters " MISHA GOLDEN SAYS HI" and she replied " I DID!!!...how`s she doing?" and I updated her, then she signed my placard. Next, Eabha signed it ....she`s not just STUNNING on stage but even more so up close.   I MET MAIREAD...I MET MAIREAD

Sounds  like  this  was  probably  your  best  CW  experience  yet !   And  you've  had  a  few.    

You got that right!!!!  talked to Mairead C. Mairead N. and Eabha....and Ray, too. They were all very nice....the "Misha Golden Says Hi" placard worked well for Maired N. but I could see Maired C. look at it during the concert with a " what the heck?" look on her face

I have a machete that was very rusty and I found these words on it after removing most of the rust.
Some are hard to read but I think what I show is correct.

Our CWuties have a lot of exciting stuff on the go.

Maybe Chloë will have some stuff for us to buy too (she was handing out EPs at a concert earlier this year).

it IS possible to spoil a squirrel, Evita van Eekhoorn  comes in and gets handed a shelled walnut. The other day , I put a shelled walnut on the rug for her and she looked up at me "nooooo......you have to HAND it to me"....so I picked it up and handed it to her...THEN she took it, turned around and walked out.

So as you might have seen over on the Chloe US tour thread, the concert in Indiana is the closest one to me at a potentially feasible time.

I managed to track down one of my friends that's willing to go. He's not a Celtic Woman fan (yet), but other than that, he's cool.

So that takes care of part of the driving.

At least two more hurdles to overcome though:
- I'm on-call 24x7 that week (including the weekend of the concert). I'm trying to trade it with someone else, but it can be difficult to pull a trade off for those.
- Technically, there isn't any vacation allotment remaining for the additional days I would need off after the concert (return trip and another thing my friend and I have planned), but I'm working on that as well.

So now I wait. For the amount of years I've been waiting and the number of times I've gotten my hopes up just to watch them disintegrate in my face, what's another few days of waiting? Lol.

I've got a good feeling about this time though. I think this time, I'll find a way.
