Dulaman...

And for the record, I really have no problem with having any of these songs stuck in my head!

Abide with Me and Sonny - The Incomparable Hayley Westenra. Chris

Can anybody watch the following without tears in their eyes?

I love that rendition, Maggie. She looks so angelic singing and her voice is pure magic. That's got to be one of the best song choices she's ever made, it suits her perfectly.

Reaction on CWF when Isle of Hope CD comes out

Another song that is stuck in my head is "Across the Universe of Time" from Hayley's cd "Pure" and her DVD.  What an amazing song.  I love it especially on the DVD when she sings it with her sister Sophie.

The DVD is perfect in every way! I love that DVD. I know I've said this before but I don't care. The passion and energy she puts into her songs live adds something that you just can't get out of studio performances.

Chris

(And to stay on topic, I have "The Last Rose of Summer" Meav and Hayley version stuck in my head.)

I watched the concert in the middle of the day yesterday, & had "The Sky the Dawn & the Sun" & "Dulaman" alternating in my head all night long. Cheesy

The Sky & the Dawn & the Sun gets stuck in my head all the time.  Maybe because it's the first song on the CD???  It was stuck in my head all day today.  Smiley

Right now for me it isn't actually a song since its an instrumental piece: Summon the Heroes from John Williams, i've had the CD yesterday night in my car for the first time again since a couple of months and since then i have those melodies in my head again... can't wait until i can run it again when i get home in the afternoon...  Roll Eyes

Here's a link to the official Sony classical site for the CD. Not as an advertisement, just because it really is one of my all-time favourites, the melodies on this CD have such a great power! I'd love to play Summon the Heroes myself someday with a good orchestra Smiley
