Wow. This just looks like a slow, sustained, beating across the entire state of Florida.

The eye wall never regained strength after it pummeled Cuba, but this thing is moving so slowly it's going to be affecting people and impeding emergency crews for days.

Unfortunately. All that flooding.

It's really, really windy right now. Rain's pretty minor so far thankfully.

It's not too bad here. I know Charleston's flooded.

Jose, stay out in the ocean and die there. We don't want you.

Last year was a direct 2 category it was very hot afterwards.
This time it faded down to tropical storm before north Florida. Differences it was very Cooling & fresh!
Surprised by Jacksonville though at The Landing where I walked to be with the girls of CW at The Voices of Angels Tour at the Amazing Beautiful Times Union in March now the streets close there got flooded! Shocked

It just started raining here.  They say it will rain for about 5 days.  We hope it helps with the many forest fires and all the smoke. Sad

Hurricane Ophelia should weaken to a bad storm by the time it reaches Ireland. It'll dump a lot of water. They closed all the schools as a precaution. Hopefully everyone stays inside and safe.

Tara's planning on an all-day Disney movie marathon if the power stays on.  Cheesy

Last week I was scraping frost off my windshield in the morning.

This week I have the air conditioner running and it feels like summer.

First snow of the season starting overnight into Sat.....2-6 inches.....every weather forcast is different...kind of like the Weather Channel"it might snow unless it doesn`t". Maybe should be like the weather forcaster in Brazil that got a 6 month prison sentence for giving the wrong forcast...if that applied here, the weather forcasters would be sentenced to death.  Roll Eyes

I pick up Sasha and her friend Corey from school every afternoon and drive them to the local YMCA for competitive swimming classes. Corey just moved here from Oregon. Yesterday she said "I can`t believe how COLD it is!" I said " it`s 44" She said "it doesn`t get that cold in Oregon". I said "wait`ll tomorrow when we get 6 inches of snow" It`s snowing right now. Oregoians don`t know what cold is  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
