Very nice here at the beach -- upper 70s and sunny with a little breeze. A few miles inland it has been 100+ the last few days. http://www.kezi.com/weather

Cooling off a bit here. Just checked the weather forecast and the highs for the next few days are all in the 80s.

It's wet, wet, and more wet. There's been flooding. Joaquin, just go away.

Seven and one-half inches so far. Still have heavy rain forecast for all day today, tonight and tomorrow to add to the mess. Flash floods from now until tomorrow night, run-off flooding next week. Rain, rain, go away.

You know it's bad when you go to Weather.com and the homepage is talking about your state. It's really bad in town. Not so bad where I am yet.

Parts of town submerged and roads collapsing. It just keeps getting worse. We have multiple rivers flooding.

YIKES! Be very very careful. Hope conditions improve soon. Don't go anywhere if you don't have to.

I've been worried about all of you in the southern regions.

The rain is supposed to lighten up. The problem, of course, is that we're going to continue getting a bunch of water from NC via rivers. There's curfews too. Lets not risk the lives of first responders whose jobs are to save your butt when you decide to go check out the rivers.

We have had several days of nice weather but today we have heavy rain and wind from Oho, a dying hurricane offshore of the northwest. I don't think we will have problems like they have in South Carolina. Well, that was yesterday and today I think we have had about a month's worth of rain in the last 5 minutes. And VERY windy. I guess Oho is still alive. Noah, please bring your boat around.

Saw some strange white stuff on top of the mountains...it seemed vaguely familiar.
