"While we seek Myrth and Beauty and Music light and gay, there are frail forms waiting at the door.....though their voices are silent, their pleading lips will say, "Oh, Hard times, come again no more..." Thanks so much Orlagh! I will always remember...

There is also a nice piece about this on Órlagh's section. Apart from Celtic Woman, there is a lot of Irish Talent on this CD. On that video clip, the bit where they all sing "Óró 's é do bheatha 'bhaile" the sound is out of whack. It is a fiercely patriotic song, part of it wishing for Granuaile (Gráinne) to return with a thousand Irish warriors: Translation of 2 verses: Gráinne O'Malley is coming over the sea, Armed warriors along with her as her guard, They are Irishmen, not foreigners nor Spanish... And they will rout the foreigners!
May it please the King of Miracles that I might see, Although we may live for a week once after, Gráinne Mhaol and a thousand warriors... Dispersing the foreigners! Here it is performed with passion by Sinéad O'Connor:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RxRj-ejoJaM

Hey guys, as the first part of the documentary is, apparently, going to include Máiréad, and we know that the second one is supposed to have CW on it I've moved this thread off of Órlagh's board and merged it with a duplicate topic on the CW board.
