Louisville Palace Theater this weekend, April 2 & 3 started the week with Stone Temple Pilots on Tuesday night and tonight it's Shinedown. I'm very glad that Celtic Woman will dress up the building for two entire evenings. I am unable to attend, but I would like to know who plans on attending the shows. I will be in the neighborhood Friday evening, maybe catch a glimpse of the troupe out for dinner. can't wait to hear the reviews!

Mike Taylor and I will be there tonight, along with perhaps my cousin as nobody bought my extra ticket.  Sad  And as you know, I looks like maybe you and I for April 3.  Any others, please chime in as the clock winds down to tonight's show at the Louisville Palace!  Smiley Smiley Smiley

We really enjoyed our visit to Kentucky and the Palace Theatre in 2007.....it's beautiful.

We had 3 lovely days on a horse ranch.....my kind of break! O'Malley enjoyed being around the horses too.

I'd love to be going tonight, but.....Dave and I will be in West Palm Beach on 20th.

Then Emily and I will be going to Tallahassee with that naughty Mr Ropes and Chris, on 23rd.

...

Maggie, I was at the April 2007 CW show at the Louisville Palace!  Were you at that show, which I believe was a Friday night?  If so, I might have walked right past you!    Cheesy

Yes I was there that night....I think you would have seen me....I had my emerald green sequin jacket on!
This photo was taken just before we left for the Theatre:

Also, I was with Dave who had on a Navy flight jacket,
and also a 6'2" Irishman with a distinct Tipperary accent.

Maggie, I did see you!  I recall seeing that jacket, as it was so colorful and I thought added so much to the atmosphere there that night!  Who would have guessed we'd be here now three years later!   Cheesy   Of course, I was just starting off on a journey of which you were already far down the road!  Small world!   Smiley Smiley Smiley

Ginger and I were at the Palace the following evening in 2007 and of course missed everyone Sad.  We drove 600 miles for the show and it was well worth the effort and every penny.  We had front row pit (our first) and it was by far the best show we've ever attended.  Until something better comes along, Louisville will always be our favorite venue.  We envy everyone and wish we were there this time around.  Have fun, you guys!!

Jack

P.S.  We'll see you all there next year!
