On Friday in Salt Lake City the Department of Veterans Affairs held an event to honor POWs and in a write up of the event I found the following:

"A highlight, which Neilsen and other veterans warmly praised, was the performance by fifth-graders from Meadowlark Elementary School in Salt Lake City. Led by instructor Cindy Carleton, the group performed rousing renditions of songs representing each branch of the armed services.

Paula Olive sung a stirring solo of "Oh America" by Celtic Woman, joined later by his classmates, which had many of the veterans in the room wiping away tears."

Cheesy  I don't think I could refrain from tears on that presentation. I bet the kids did an excellent job!
