So I took a little 'adventure' this morning and 'happened' to end up in Memphis.  Well who do you suppose is in Memphis tonight?  Celtic Woman!  After an 8 hour drive I arrivedwith  45 minutes to spare and found MJD who had the tickets.

Some things I've noticed:

- Roisin isn't in the choir tonight
- Several of the choir members got haircuts
- The audience is really good

Roisin wasn't in the choir in Tallahassee either. We noticed that immediately.

And LOL at just happening to end up in Memphis.  Grin

Yes, just happened to end up in Memphis!  Wink

Ray used his fingers during You'll Be In My Heart cause he couldn't find his sticks.

Catherine had to kinda bump the new girl (can't remember her name cause I don't have a program in front of me) during My Lagan Love to get her to turn around.

It was annoying to see a guy 2 people over and the guy in front of me record during the show after being asked not to.

There was a guy who kept yelling 'Yeah' during the show.

Am so blessed CW comes to Memphis. Makes for a short two hour drive from my small Mississippi town....there is little I can say; another great show! Great crowd. Many, many highlights for me. At the top were Amazing Grace (it was simply amazing), Lisa's "Moon Is A Harsh Mistress" (my new favorite "Lisa" song), Chloe with "When You Believe", and Mairead playing everything. It also struck the wife and I after the show just how much Alex and Lynn have captured our hearts with their music and demeanor. The whole group is the definition of class. We are so fortunate CW exists.

- the show was sold out

- When Alex was introducing My Heart Was Home Again she mentioned how she got to take home the best souvenir last year, a southern man.  Then she said she shipped him off to southern Ireland and now spends more time in the southern states and he spends more time in southern Ireland.

- There was this guy who stood up when Anthony was walking down to play Amazing Grace and put his arms out and was kinda like 'on you go' as he went by.  We called him the hippie dude the rest of the night.

- I feel bad for MJD cause he got stuck sitting behing a guy that was tall.  Well he was actually shorter than him but the chairs in the pit sat so high that he couldn't see over him.

- They didn't come to the end of the stage.  They stayed maybe 2 feet back the entire time.  Wish they would have set them up closer to the end of the stage.

- Chloe mentioned that some of the cast and crew became acquainted with Beale Street, but she wouldn't mention names.
