Summer 2010 Tour Dates

Anyone know anything about PBS and the Rochester NY concert on July 25th? I’m a member but I can’t seem to get any response out of WXXI to see if they are offering tix. The theater box-office is already sold out back to row R.

I have 3rd row the following night at Saratoga Performing Arts, and I’m trying to decide between Rochester and Bethel Woods for a second concert earlier that week.

I need to figure out what to do with hotel rooms. Late July is the start of the horse racing and summer social season in Saratoga, so the hotel rooms are far more expensive than the concert tickets!

My contact, Mark Grube, is just as frustrated.  He can't seem to get an answer on M&G possibility.  WXXI will have a call-in on June 2nd for their membership drive and good seats.  Probably expensive.  For tickets now, call Ticketmaster directly and have them look for good seats.  I was able to get left center seats in Row D on the aisle when the center section was sold out back to Row R.

   WXXI left a message on my phone saying that they will not have any pre-sale before the June 2nd member-drive show, and that I need to call in during the TV airing; no info on M&G. I guess I'll wait for that date to make a final decision on which show to go to. Also the message mentioned a different location from what is on the CW website!! Is this show really in Rochester? We'll just have to wait and see.....

From the tour schedule on the CW site it didn't look like PBS was sponsoring any shows. Did you go through your local PBS station to get M&G or did you get it some other way?

I went through the PBS station in New Mexico.  The contact information is on the Lynn Hilary forum index under On Tour, PBS ticket offerings.  Heidi is the contact person at the PBS station, very nice to deal with.

I don't think it's going to be updated. I always get my information directly from the PBS station by just flat out asking them if they're sponoring the show and if they'll be having M&G. I think that's what everyone else does too. I never rely on what I see on the CW site except for the actual dates themselves.
