What is your most favorite song that Orla did with Celtic Woman? Was it Isle of Inisfree, Siuil A Run, Harry's Game, Newgrange, Carrickfergus, or Shooting Star? Also, if you want to mention any other song she did that wasn't with Celtic Woman, I'm sorry, but I don't want that here.

I went with Newgrange. I'm not aware that Shooting Star was with Celtic Woman. Did I miss something? Huh

I have no first hand knowledge but have read in this Forum that Órla performed Shooting Star on (some) earlier tours prior to ANJ.

I believe that Orla did perform "Shooting Star" in a concert at The Point in Ireland during a CW concert there some years back. Other than that, I don't believe she performed the song in concert while touring with CW.

That's why I missed it. That was before I heard of CW!

I believe that's right--didn't she perform it on the first U.S. tour?  I was thinking she had done it on 2005 & 2006 tours, prior to ANJ, but I didn't see these and so could be wrong.   Undecided Smiley

I voted for Newgrange because from that moment she really captured my attention, but I love all the songs.. Miss Fallon, with, or without her harp can't ruin a performance.

I have to go with Siuil A Run because that's the first Orla song that captured my attention and the first song that I ever heard by CW that drew me in. Cheesy Newgrange is a very close second.  I love them all, though...it's hard to pick just one!

Definately Newgrange.  I've always loved Orla's voice, but hearing this song on PBS really sealed the deal for me. Cheesy

This speaks to the genuine talent and skill that Órla has honed to perfection. Each of her recordings will reach out and grab each individaul in it's own special way.

I only pick Isle of Innishfree because it was the first song I heard her sing (and play). Truth is I love them all!  Cheesy

We may be evenly divided on our favorite Orla song, but we are overwhelmingly in support of Orlagh and her musical ability!!
