Summer of '06. I was browsing the shelves at Wal*Mart, hoping to find the Braveheart Soundtrack and came across a certain blue CD with a pretty red-head on the cover. The word "Celtic" caught my attention and I looked at the CD for a few minutes before returning it back onto the shelf. I looked them up on Myspace later that night--first song "You Raise Me Up." That one song made me a fan. I went out and bought the CD the next day and watched their videos on Youtube until winter came: I saw their New Journey special on TV--that sealed the deal for me.

At the end of '05 I was looking to refresh my Celtic music library. I spied a blue CD called "Celtic Woman" sitting all by itself on a store shelf. I looked it and the song list over and thought, "This might be pretty good". Biggest understatment of my life! Little did I know what that little plastic disc was going to do to me! Not long after that I began aquiring each of the DVDs and CDs as they showed up in stores. I wasn't fully cognizant of the relationship to PBS and lived like the lone ranger for a year. It wasn't until early '07 I went on the internet, joined Órla's Forum and began lurking here. You mean they Tour Live Shows in the US? I was stunned!

Originally the Helix, but if I hadn't known who Meav was I wouldn't have left it on while I was flipping through channels.
