Sorry David, but it's a huge honor just to be nominated and I really think that if the Olympics weren't in the running you probably would have won.

David is still an Emmy winner in my eyes. We all know how great he is. Still it's an honor to be nominated. There's always next year, without the Olympics to compete with.

Tonight, August 29 is the Prime time Emmys. Check your local listings and root for David Downes to win in the category Best Musical Show I think. Let's go David

Thanks for posting the link to the results, Mikey! I would've done it myself, but I was running around like crazy around the time of the awards. Although David didn't win the Emmy, it is still an enormous honor and accomplishment to be nominated. I have often noticed that once something is nominated for an Emmy the first time, future nominations come much more easily. I'm sure this is just the first of many nominations (and hopefully wins) for David and CW in the future!
