Mods: I didn't know whether this should be in fun and games or the main Celtic Woman section so I'm putting here and if it gets changed, I'll know why.

What new Christmas songs would you like to hear Celtic Woman perform? I ask that you only choose songs that they haven't done yet as well as songs that don't refer to Santa Claus as that is not their style. Here's my list:

God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen (all)
Mary Did You Know? (Lisa Kelly)
Sleigh Ride (Mairead)
Good Christian Men Rejoice (Lisa Lambe)
What Child is This? (Chloe)
O Come O Come Emmanuel (group singers)
Of the Father's Love Begotten (Lisa Lambe)
Nutcracker Suite (Mairead)
One Small Child (group singers)
Hark, the Herald Angels Sing (Lisa Kelly)
Angels We Have Heard on High (Chloe)
Angels from the Realms of Glory (Lisa Lambe)
Sliver Bells/Pat-A-Pan (Mairead)
The Bells of Christmas (Lisa and Lisa duet)
Rise Up Shepherd (Chloe)
It Came Upon a Midnight Clear (Mairead)
The King Shall Come (group singers)
Winter Wonderland (all)

Merry Christmas Darling   the old Carpenters song. Hey its Carpenter's so Lisa K should be singing it, with keyboard accompanyment. But I would love to hear Lynn sing it, but if she did, I might just melt right then and there.

Where are you Christmas   Faith Hill's song.  Lisa L sings this one, or Meav as guest

Troika song    from Prokofiev's Lt Keji.(? on the work, I think thats the name) Not really a Christmas song, but its an instrumental piece that could be adapted for fiddle for Mairead and include a drummer, or drummers, out front with her. Its hard to explain, but if you hear this song, you just think of riding through the snow in a horse drawn sleigh. Its a really cool song

All I want for Christmas is You   Lisa L or again Lynn as guest

Christmas in Hollis by Run DMC  hahaha  Cheesy  little humor there, just kidding   Cheesy

I ask that you only choose songs that they haven't done yet as well as songs that don't refer to Santa Claus

I think a Santa type song song by Chloe would work out well and be fun. Kids and Grandparents would love it. They should even have a few kids on stage with Santa during a recorded concert. And, before some of you yell at me like the last time I said this when this topic up, it DOES NOT HAVE to be their real kids. If they wish to keep their kids private, thats their parental decision and I am not trying to tell them what to do. There are plenty of child models / actors to hire for it. But many think Christmas is about kids, and family, and Santa is also a big part of the whole Christmas thing, so why not have them for 1 or maybe 2 songs? Not for the whole show!

I think Chloe Agnew and Lisa Kelly will sing "The First Noel". I think they both will perform solos in this song.

"One Cold and Blessed Winter" - an Italian carol

a traditional Polish carol (there are a few that I know of so I won't name them all)

a German carol (I know of some)

These can be song in English or translated into Gaelic, but the important thing is the tune.

How about "The Cat Carol"?
