The Wikipedia page says he was born in Dublin, Ireland. His official website says he was born in Ireland.
There is ANOTHER David Downes from New Zealand. I had 2 of his albums, but did not really care for them so gave them away. They were kind of electro-technical music or something like that.

I think there was an article once where the writer got them mixed up.
Maybe the David from NZ could start a group called "Kiwi Woman".
