This morning Hayley tweeted a link to a news article about her upcoming charity concert in Auckland as well as other efforts she is undertaking to help her hometown of Christchurch which was so devastated by last months earthquake.

Hayley and her management are planning benefit concerts in New Zealand soon in Auckland and Christchurch, and also a worldwide charity single with Universal Music.

Way to go, Hayley! It's a win-win situation. Fans get to enjoy a Hayley concert and the proceeds go to help those affected by the earthquake.

Also, via Twitter, Hayley says she has been invited by Prime Minister John Key to perform at the Christchurch Memorial service on Friday, March 18th, at which Prince William will also be in attendance (briefly mentioned in the article in my post above, as well).
