I have always enjoyed Christmas music and this Christmas will be a little extra special with this new album!! Smiley   I don't know about you all, but my memories of Christmases past are often triggered each time I pop in a specific Christmas album. Growing up as a kid, my father always played 50's and 60's era groups and singers and also country music from that era (old school country).  So, like the changing of the seasons, around Christmas time I would always hear some of the same familiar Christmas albums such as the Statler Brothers christmas album, Elvis Presley, Bobby Helms and Brenda Lee.  My christmas music collection has grown tremendously since then and some new favorites have come along. Celtic Woman's Christmas albums are entirely different than anything else in my collection, but someday, perhaps my own kids will be hearing Celtic Woman's Christmas albums each year.

Until now, the absolute best Christmas concert DVD has been Judy Collins's "Christmas at the Biltmore Estate" (if you haven't watched it already, please do so). Semms like in october, it's going to have some great competition.

Cool! I'd heard the DVD was going to be out in October. Just in time for my birthday. It will be so nice to relive the memory of that concert and this time see their faces. I managed to pick a seat that had the girls' backs to me most of the time. No complaints here though as I was so blessed to have been there. I'll be curious to see if any of the other forum members I met will make the cut and get their lovely mugs on TV.
