I am so excited, I watched the Orla Fallon special this weekend on PBS and called in for the Seats and the Meet and Greets. I will finally get to meet her, and my partner is so excited he loves her. I have never had the money for Celtic Woman, but I had the money now and decided I am doing it. This is my first meet and greet, what should I do? Any suggestions or ideas???

First off...Try not to faint!  I've had the good fortune to have met Orlagh quite a few times. You will find that she is an incredibly gracious and kind Lady, and that she just Loves to meet new fans. She will likely ask what you thought of the concert (she has always asked me that), so go ahead and tell her... if you can bring yourself to speak.  And if you have a question or 2 she always seems willing to answer and chat for a bit. If you can...try to wait and get near the end of the greeting line, she may not feel rushed too much. How much time she can take, may depend on the groups travel requirements, but as she often says she loves to talk! It always amazes me that even after a long concert, you know that's she's tired , but she still takes time with each and every person and treats them like they are her new best friends. I'm so happy that you will get to met this wonderful Lady!!! Most of all ENJOY! It will be something you will remember always! Also...meeting Orlagh gives you automatic membership in the Still Smilin Club!!!!!!..you'll understand what that means after you meeet her! Bruce |

Your excitment is understandable travisrocket.  Lord willing I will again have the special privilege of meeting and speaking with Órla one week from tonight. I have only met Órla once so want to wait until my return to reply with some ideas and suggestions. |

There are many fans that will get to meet Orlagh for the first time. During this tour. I am one. I have followed her carrer with the others but have not had funds or the opertunity to go to a concert where she was. The way I have seen her treat her fans shows how special a woman she is. Many who have writtten here have been touched personally by her through her generosity and kindnest. I to am looking forward to meeting her and hopefully being able to express to her how much we have enjoyed her music and the scarfice she makes to bring this gift to us. Ditto to all the others that have written. |

Not many people around here know who I am talking about when I bring them up. There are those that do, but not many. It would be cool to meet up with you if you like. Last question, are pictures allowed??? Please let them be allowed?? Oh yeah, can you ask her to sign things, or is that off limits?? Sorry for so many questions, just a new thing to me and don't want to make her uncomfortable or make a dork of myself in front of someone I admire so much. Thanks for all your help. |

There is usually a merchandise table from which these items can be purchased. Surely, copies of My Land will be displayed since it's release! |
