Here's another young singer/songwriter I really like. Her name is Una Healy, and - surprise, surprise! - she's IRISH (from Tipperary, no less)! Check her MySpace page here: http://www.myspace.com/unahealy. She's just posted her first music video.

I've loved Enya since I was little - I like her CD "The Celts" the most. My other favorite artists right now are: Madeleine Peyroux ( she sings jazz and sounds like a modern Billie Holiday ) Leslie Feist (she has a wonderful rich smooth voice - her music is very diverse, from indie rock to french jazz - you HAVE to hear her!) Morcheeba (has been a favorite for years - especially the album "Big Calm." It's trip hop and electronica, and very beautiful) Hem (some songs border too closely to country, so I avoid those, however her voice is LOVELY and so is the music) I couldn't live without this music, so I hope some of you check it out too ~Jessie

He probably already knows about her. Musicians are a pretty tight-knit group. Besides, she's Irish.

yeah that's a cute one, ferngully. I think one of my absolute favorites is her version of "Smile" on her album "half the perfect world." And...pretty much all of her songs are pure contentment to listen to. I just melt into her piano solos..........ahhhhh ~Jess

I just learned that Luan Parle, besides being a very talented and lovely young woman, is also extremely generous. People like her can actually restore some of your faith in humanity.
