Let's just say that's a LOT more hits than she normally gets.

Her and her friends do have even better videos floating around (their cover of Wonderful World is incredible), but this one is nice and it does do a decent job of showcasing Kate's voice.

Give her a listen if you haven't already and if anyone's interested, I can put together some of their other videos. Kate's really got an amazing voice and she's super-sweet.

I'm sure some of you know what it's like for really talented artists out there that never get luck and their talent goes unnoticed. So I normally wouldn't do this, but I think this is Kate's big chance and if you listen to her and like her, please help spread the word about her. I don't have anything to gain financially from this, but she's amazing and your support would mean the world to her and to me.

This has been a brutal year for loss of legendary celebrities. The world is a better place because of them. Makes one appreciate every moment, doesn't it?

2016 has been rough on a lot of people. My friend Kate had her heart broken just before Christmas when she and her husband decided to go their separate ways.  

Going forward, she'll be Kate Steinway.

I think pretty much everyone here knows at this point knows how much Celtic Woman means to me. There are few other performers that affect me that much, but Kate is one of them. Her voice is gorgeous, she's a fantastic songwriter, and she's one of the sweetest people I know.

There's a special place in my heart for her friend Chloë Agnew as you can probably gather from my posts. I'm not sure that I've told anyone this before but if it weren't for Kate and her friends (Mary and Dani), I wouldn't have have met Chloë this year in August.

Although she sings mostly contemporary songs, Kate's classically trained. Here's one of her warm-ups from earlier this year:

I'm so grateful to Kate and her friends for all their music this year, for being great friends to Chloë, and for being so nice to me.

Kate and her music mean a lot to me and it would mean the world to me if you would follow her too.

I know we've all got our own performers we follow and support beyond Celtic Woman. One of my resolutions is going to be to follow some of your favourites more closely than I had a chance to this year. Let's all help each other out and support those other special performers in our lives that are such important parts of our lives.
