When I wrote the lyrics to “The Celtic Woman Story,” I coined a nickname for the composer and music director--David “The Founding Father” Downes. What do other CW listeners think of it?

I once saw him in the back of a theatre after a concert and thought about approaching him and say "Hi Maestro, great show!" then thought twice about it and was just going to say "Hi Mr Downes great show!' but another forum member, who never posted much and never posts now, ran up to him and started yacking away, and the look on David's face was like, shock hahaha. I just chuckled and kept walking.

To me, David has always been the Soul of Celtic Woman while Mairead is the Spirit.
Does anyone know how to get accents? I hate spelling Mairead's name wrong... even when its right.... sorta.

Before I read this thread, I was thinking "system integrator", but I realize that most CW fans aren't nerdish enough to appreciate that.

If you mean that David D. is an expert at making a diverse group talent work together smoothly and beautifully, then I believe I understand. David D. knows how to make the whole greater than the sum of its parts- which is really saying something because the individual "parts" are pretty amazing to begin with!

It suits him, I think, because he's always there, coordinating things, and we wouldn't be on this forum if not for him.
