This title I have typed is going to be a song I can make, so here are the lyrics:

Me:
Life is like an outdoor furnace
I can't stand the temprature that's high
My skin is sweating more than a scaly dinosaur
And I just need someone to tell me why
The temperature is higher than ninety degrees
Makes me badly want to shave a raccoon
This makes me wanna say that in the brightest day
It's a way much too hot afternoon

Chloe:
I may have been sweating with my long, long hair
But I can tie it up in a wonderful flair
Sometimes I do some of those similar things
That bring me up high where the big bell rings

Me:
We can taste some popsicles and ice cream

Chloe:
With flavored colors and sprinkles on them too

Both:
No matter where we are, there is a guiding star
That is helpful for me and you

Me:
We'll think of our happy memories

Chloe:
While we smile with a scoop from a spoon

Both:
There's everything to share
With our hearts meant to care
It's a way much too hot afternoon

Chloe:
It's a way much too hot afternoon

Me:
Yeah

Chloe:
Ooh.....

Me:
It's a way much to hot afternoon

Both:
We can stay under the treehouse
Because there is just enough shade
Friends must all remain when away from the rain
Holding watermelons cut in a blade

Me:
We'll think of our happy memories

Chloe:
While we smile with a scoop from a spoon

Both:
There's everything to share
With our hearts meant to care
It's a way much too hot afternoon
It's a way much too hot afternoon
It's a way much too hot afternoon
It's a way
Much too hot
Afternoon!

Those are interesting lyrics, Kimberly.  It is warm almost everywhere right now.  A raccoon may get upset, though, if you try to shave him.  I like the part about ice cream.  Ice cream is always good on a hot day -- or any day!

I think many of our forum members can agree with Kimberly about the heat this week Wink.

It may be time for ice cream.

As for me, our temps are in the mid 60s.

Tongues out for those who need ice treats on each hot day! I'm one of those many people who do. Smiley

It`s blistering hot here , too......95 yesterday, 90 today. Not sure if a bald racoon would be a good idea...I have a couple that come at dusk and eat unsalted peanuts.......think they might want to keep their fur...they`re very pretty. AC is on high.....tolerable. Picked up Sasha from rowing at 11:00 a.m....super hot even on the Providence River, but it`s July.....it`s SUPOSSED to be hot.

When I lived in Phoenix, AZ, I once saw 124 on the car temp display and when I was in Brawley, CA, in a truck I saw 128 on the display.  THOSE were HOT days.
