Be careful what you wish for. You might get it!

Now for their next show maybe the ladies can all jump out of the Startgate to the tune of Spanish Lady Grin

Capn Davie, I am sure the ladies are reading this and getting a big chuckle out of it.

Maybe our banner experts can make something with them jumping out of the Stargate.

that's one thing but if someone puts them in SG uniforms I will laugh my head off! I dont think I have the skill to do that though unfortunately.

Angus MacGyver a.k.a. Richard Dean Anderson has always been a favorite of mine.

That out take was one of the more memorable moments from the 10 years of SG1 being on the air.  (this out take was from the 10th anniversary show special and never was included in the actual episode)

Thanks for sharing, I got a good laugh out of seeing that again

I can only imagine what was going through Richard's mind as this was a gag played on him by the cast.

Tom

No wonder they called him Mac...Angus? Musta missed that, my wife's got the series on DVD...

You will need to view the last part of the very last episode to find out that his first name was in fact Angus.  That was the on going joke for all 7 seasons that they never told you first name and used Mac as a nickname.  In typical Hollywood fashion they waited until the very end of the show to let the fans know.

Hope this helps,

I know he was on General Hospital L O N G ago as a doctor. Cant remember his character's name now.

I may be wrong here, but it seems to me the name Angus MacGyver is Scottish.

Rick's dad was Stuart whom was a High School English teacher from MN that passed away in 2003 and not the actor from The Six Million Dollar Man.

Hope this helps,

Hello Dave,

Rick as in Richard Dean Anderson, his real life father is/was Stuart.

Thanks again,

I suspect that big circle thing over-watching the stage during the debut concert has some deep cultural history, meanings and traditions behind it that are far more important and fascinating than a fun, made for TV sci-fi series.

I understand Maggie is very busy this month but maybe she, or someone like her, will graciously come to our aid on this point. Speaking for myself I can never get enough information.

I know none of us means any harm. If and until that gift of information perhaps we should consider being careful about a cultural symbol that many, or at least I, don’t fully understand.

Sorry for this serious moment in this midst of fun…
