In the latest issue of the Lark, Marie Frances talks about this song and provides a link to hear a snippit. Apparently, the CD is only available in Ireland. I need to find a way to get it. Does anyone know of a way either get in touch with Marie Frances, or of an online store that would sell this CD to someone in the states?

thank you Smiley

Codail A Mhuirnín can be bought here: Litriocht.com
It costs €18.00 or around $25.

It can also be found at at Amazon.co.uk: here
Though Amazon UK has a wait time of 4 to 6 weeks before they ship.

It's a CD and book combo. The book has the Irish lyrics as well as the English translations.

Thank you. Do you know if just that one song is by Meav, or are others on the disk by Meav also. I assumed it was an artist collaboration?

According to Méav's website she sings on the following tracks:
Codail a mhuirnín
Dún do shúile
Gheobhair is gheobhair a pháiste
Codail a stóirín go ciúin is go sámh
Cé hé an leanbh a raghaidh ar an aonach liom
Adhraim mo leanbh beag tagtha’r an saol
Mo chaora bhán

So seven out of 20.

Thank you CelticMelody for asking this question and aislin for answering it!  I had been looking for this CD myself, but was coming up with only dead ends.  I've now ordered myself a copy!

Codail A Mhuirnin (Sleep, my little treasure / beloved) CD isn't new.

It's been out (in Ireland) since before Méav joined Celtic Woman.

These are beautiful lullabies, so soothing.

I gave a copy to my little grandson and he goes to sleep listening to it.

My copy of Codail A Mhuirnin came today!  I've only had time to listen to it once all the way through.  Gosh it's nice to hear new (to me) Meav songs!!!  A great thing is that I bought it thinking I just might only like Meav's songs...but there are many of the other songs on it that are beautiful as well.   Yep, Kelli's going to sleep to some honest-to-goodness Irish lullabies tonight...I'm so thrilled!
