Hey guys, I really need some prayers right now. My dad has been battling with cancer since I was a senior in college, which has been about 7 years now. It had gone into remission, but it has come back. He's currently taking radiation and chemo treatments for a tumor on his hip. Tonight he went to the hospital because he wasn't feeling well. After running some tests, the doctors believe that he has a blood clot. He is being transferred to another hospital and has been given medicine to get rid of the blood clot. I'm about 100 miles away from home and if I can get off of work I may be going home tomorrow night. For those who don't know, my mom is wheelchair bound I don't feel comfortable with her being alone for a long period of time.

Kim, I know first hand how difficult it can be to be far from home when a family member is ill. My heart goes out to you and your family. You will all be in my thoughts.

Thank you all for the prayers. It looks like he has a blood clot in his lung. The doctor has been pumping him with medicine to get it dissolved. I just talked to him and he seems to be in good spirits, bored, but good.
